A wonderful little campsite! We received an extremely warm welcome and really enjoyed our pitch right by the lake. Great starting point for kayaks and SUPs. Swimming is only partly suitable because the water is very shallow. The site is also fantastic for dogs. It is best to reserve a pitch in advance by phone or WhatsApp.✦Translating

Fantastic place. We endorse everything said so far; for us, the most important things were the peace, the view, the friendliness and the trust. An extra nice touch is that not everything is mowed; plenty of grass and meadow flowers are left standing between the pitches. Simply magical. Thank you!✦Translating

Fabulous. Julie and Mark have created a little paradise and we will come back! Lovely pitch by the lake (best to text/call to book) Toilets and showers lovely and clean, with hot water and fresh drinking water is lovely and cold. If you’re by the lake it is a bit of a walk to facilities, but I liked that - good exercise. Fresh bread available and ice cream along with locally produced sausages. XX

Cosy place with lovely owners. We booked in advance and were contacted by text message so they could find the right spot for us. The site is not very large, but there is plenty of space between the units. The area is somewhat steep, sloping from the entrance/reception toward Lake Heddal. It is a little challenging with a large, heavy vehicle. The sanitary facilities are by reception, so those staying by the lake have a 150 m uphill walk to the toilet.✦Translating

Very beautiful and family-friendly campsite with terraces, so everyone has a great view of the lake while still having privacy. Clean sanitary facilities; we really liked the canoe and SUP rental. Very nice owners. We would come again.✦Translating

Warning: there are no waste-disposal facilities! Otherwise, a very nice site with a very friendly owner. The showers are large and warm, with no extra charge. A modern washing machine and dryer are available and were not constantly occupied. There is an extra charge, but everything is fine. Ask at reception about dog-walking routes; there are four routes starting from the site, which are quite pleasant. Bread rolls in the morning :) I would come back!✦Translating

Recently taken over by a young Dutch couple last year… utterly charming campsite, set out in terraces overlooking the lake. We stayed 2 nights with only a couple of other vans (definitely early season), parked up near a little waterfall. Very clean and simple facilities. They also had a couple of glamping tents and some cabins if that’s your thing. Definitely would come back! Thank you!!

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners! You can choose a spot by the water or on the terraces; the view of the water is accessible to everyone. Clean sanitary facilities! A nice option is that you can order local breakfast rolls for the following morning. Highly recommended as a campsite for staying longer and relaxing!✦Translating

Very nice campsite in a great location. We stayed two nights with a motorhome. You can choose whether to stay close to the water or farther up, with more privacy. The sanitary building was always clean; there are two showers and two toilets, shared by men and women, which you have to be comfortable with. The path there from the pitches is uphill and becomes somewhat tiring over time. The owners are super nice and help with every request. The prices are fair. We would come here again!✦Translating
