Been here?
A waterside parking place near the Saint George Branch, with room for a few vans. It is directly on the water and generally quiet, although the village has grown and the area is now surrounded by fenced cottages. Overnight stays are possible without problems. There is no water or electricity, and rubbish, barking dogs and nearby construction have been reported.

The place was not the best but spent one night there. The best thing was that we met Gabriel and had an amazing boat tour in Danube Delta with him, he speaks English and knows everything about Delta!
The village has grown and the place is not as wild as on the photos anymore. It is now surrounded by fenced properties, which first looked like businesses to us but turned out to be cottages with no one there. Still very quiet, directly on the water and space for a few vans. In the morning a few farmers passed by and greeted us, the rest of the day we were alone.
Beautiful spot by the water. We stayed there for one night without any problems and were even able to go swimming in the evening. People next to us made a campfire. Very quiet. At night, a horse with a foal wandered around. Good spot for starting an early boat tour from Mahmudia the next morning.Translating
We stayed one night, but the dogs barked. There is rubbish thrown around. In the morning there was a construction site nearby and it was noisy. From workers and fishermen. The view of the Danube is beautiful. There is no water or electricity.Translating
