Been here?
A beachside parking area with stunning views, a cafe and toilets open 24 hours. Recent reports say spaces are usually unavailable, with £150 fines for vehicles whose wheels do not fit within marked bays. It is suitable only for small vehicles, and overnight parking is discouraged locally.

Great spot!! Right on the beach and close to toilets that are open 24hrs.. would definitely stay here again
Never any free spaces. Traffic Wardens in unmarked cars giving out tickets to those parked illegally, or not in the box or parking overnight. Locals do not like people parked there overnight. Not worth the hassle.
As a smaller 6 metre length motorhome we do not fit into these car parking bays. The bays are suitable for a Citroen Berlingo conversion or maybe a VW T5, but forget it if you panel van camper or motorhome.
As the previous comment has said, new boxes have been added with £150 fine if your wheels don't fit within the box. Officers come by around 7am and take a photo, ticket will arrive in the mail. Locals have confirmed.
They have now added boxes bays to this car park and if your wheels don’t fit in then they are giving £150 fines and in a months time it will be paid parking! shame as it’s a great spot, ruined by one person who stayed for 4 weeks last year I was told!
Beautiful spot next to the beach. Stunning views, toilets, and a beach café. Nice pub a 20-minute walk away up a steep hill.Translating
about 6 free parking spots by the toilet and coffee hut. naturist beach to the left.
I don’t know why someone has said you can’t now park here as you can. I spoke to a local who said it’s ok and there a little cafe on beach to support and loos. Perfect spot - have been before a few years ago. This is not the car park but a parking area by the cafe
The road has been open for a while now. But you can park overnight on the left hand side of the slip road to Strete Gate Carpark. You cannot park overnight in the Carpark, only at the side of the road. There is space for about 4 motorhomes. There is a coffee shack opposite and toilets near the Carpark. The beach is a stones throw away and is dog friendly. A quiet spot to stay. Beautiful!
We arrived yesterday in the rain and woke up to a beautiful sunrise. We slept wonderfully peacefully with three other campers. Now, with a sunny day, it is getting busier. The beach café is also open in October. Beautiful walk along the beach to Torcross. Wonderful place, shame to leave. Public toilets are at the car park 100 meters farther on.Translating
