Camping Pen Palud

Very friendly welcome. We stayed for 2 days. 300 metres from the beach and 1 km from Lomener. A very pleasant cycle path along the sea leads to Guidel-Plage, 14 km away.✦Translating

Lovely location and very enjoyable campsite, we stayed 5 nights after seeking coastal breezes in the 34 degree heatwave. Pool was great and the beach 5 mins away beautiful. 10 mins further and you’re in a small port with enough bars and restaurants. The whole area and coastline is delightful and will be an area we revisit.

The campsite is peaceful and near the sea. Avoid any pitches near reception as the owner’s dog uses them as his personal toilet. It was very convenient to be able to collect bread in the morning, but avoid the dried and burnt pain au raison. The only water was at the motorhome service point.

Excellent campsite with everything needed: waste disposal and water filling. Two pools, one covered with a hot tub and one heated outdoor pool. Bread and pastries can be ordered. Snack bar open from 7 to 9 p.m. Bikes can be rented on site. Supermarket and tobacconist 1.5 km away. The sea is a 5-minute walk, with many coastal paths. Dogs are allowed here, but unfortunately on none of the nearby beaches.✦Translating

Great little campsite, very welcoming staff, spotless facilities. The heated pool is great! The snack bar is pretty good too! The price is €26.80 for one pitch, two people, without electricity, for one night. We arrived without a reservation, but it was still off-season; it remains to be seen whether places are available without reservations during high season.✦Translating

Three nights in a motorhome (€20 per night). Everything was excellent: welcome, two pools, and clean, spacious facilities. 200 metres on foot from the beach and the start of a long-distance hiking trail. Port shops 900 metres away. You can hear the main road passing very close by, but only slightly.✦Translating

We stood one night on the site, which was ok so far. There are some good aspects of camping, like a small pool and the nice owners. But the restrooms are outdated and women did not feel comfortable to wash their hands directly next to the urinal.

Very warm welcome, even though it was closing time. Large pitches separated by hedges. Beautiful pools, very clean facilities. Snack bar and emergency grocery shop.
