Quiet lockside, bumpy approach

Quiet place with the sound of a waterfall in the background due to the height difference at the locks. With some luck, you can watch boats pass through the locks. Very tidy, with picnic benches and bins. Shady spot for a maximum of two or three campers. We were alone and it was wonderful. You can make a beautiful bike ride along the river. We had a wonderful night. Thanks to the municipality!

Quiet place to spend the night. Woken by the crowing rooster and birdsong. On the other hand, somewhat dirty, with lots of broken glass on the ground. It is a shame not to respect a place like this.

We spent the night here and were alone. There was a little traffic in the evening. No mosquitoes. Recycling bins and a glass collection point on site.

Beautiful spot along the river and a quiet road. A few cars and walkers. At night you hear nothing—slept wonderfully. There are excellent cycle paths along the river from there. Great.

Top of the top! A little piece of paradise. Extremely quiet and relaxing. The view of the lock and the Charente is magnificent. We spent two days and two nights here and it was great! Laundry, bread vending machine and very clean toilets next to the campsite; otherwise, 5 km away in Sireuil, there is a bakery and a Vival. Accessible to heavy vehicles.

The night of May 20, 2023 was particularly quiet and pleasant in this small, clean parking area equipped with picnic tables and recycling bins. Thanks to the municipality for this lovely space. Fishing and walking on site.
