6 Jachthavenweg, 2050, Antwerpen
Been here?
City campsite beside Antwerp’s marina, with spacious pitches and access to the historic centre by water bus or nearby free ferry. The water-bus stop is about 5 minutes away, while reception is open from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and departures are before 12:00 PM. Restrooms and grounds are generally clean, but outside people can enter despite the gate code and a serious security incident was reported. Wi-Fi is available only at the entrance.

Excellent campsite, less than a 40-minute walk from the historic centre and beside the Scheldt. Very good welcome by phone and on arrival. Spacious pitches, with a choice depending on availability. Quiet, clean and well-maintained campsite. The only drawback is that there is no washing machine or laundry sink, so bring a bucket or basin.Translating
A beautiful place, ideal for exploring Antwerp. The water bus stop is very close.Translating
Clean, well organised, with many clean bathrooms and all services. Free ferry to the city-centre side, 15 minutes on foot; it runs continuously day and night. The water bus is a five-minute walk away and costs extra. Spacious pitches, including the smaller ones; you choose your own after check-in. A permit is required to arrive with high-emission vehicles; I requested an exemption for my vintage vehicle.Translating
This camp site might be good for visiting Antwerp, however you need to take in account the security. Folks from the outside, including homeless people are able to easily enter the site despite the code. My wife was attacked and no one reacted. On top of this, WiFi only work at reception, toilets are not clean and fresh water quality is doubtful. Watch out, bad experience we had.
Excellent location and not outrageously expensive. The pitches had dry grass and the bathrooms were mediocre. To visit the city, the water bus is a five-minute walk away and takes you to the centre for €1.Translating
City campsite. We were told they were full, but they gave us a concrete pitch. Then it turned out that about four pitches were free. The next day we asked to change pitches and were told we could use any vacant one. City campsite, expensive and old. Unfortunately, there are not many options for visiting Antwerp. Two adults and one camper: €30.75 per night.Translating
Very noisy campsite, sanitary facilities not very clean, insufficient electrical hookups in high season. Well located for visiting the city, and that's all.Translating
Excellent campsite, easy to reach, services are OK. You can take a boat, bus 36, or cycle to the centre. Spacious, shaded spaces.Translating
Small campsite but with everything you need. Quiet and peaceful, very convenient for staying and visiting Antwerp. We spent two nights; a ferry leaves just a few metres away and takes you to the centre for €0.50 each way. Bike rental next door. It couldn't be easier—we'll come back!Translating
Great place. Easy check-in and check-out. Quiet considering it is practically in the middle of the city. Trees everywhere. Clean sanitary facilities. Everything was great—we would come back anytime!Translating
Wonderful little campsite in the city. Trees provide shade, and a sweet homemade bar gives it a hippie feel. An outdoor swimming pool is right next door. The water bus stop is nearby for reaching the old town (€1 return). The free ferry also runs nearby. Antwerp is a must-see, and this place is the perfect base!Translating
lovely campsite. the pitches have so much space, and the facilities are clean. there is also a bar on site, and it's very conveniently located.
We stayed for three days. The staff were kind, the pitch was tidy, the sanitary facilities were clean, and the campsite was clean. Hot showers and convenient for visiting the centre, about six minutes away. The Sint-Anna water bus stop is about six minutes away; for €1 you get a return ticket. The free ferry is about 20 minutes away, or you can walk through the Sint-Anna tunnel. The stay cost about €30 per day for the pitch and two people.Translating
We arrived on a Saturday evening during a long weekend and there was no space. They allowed us to sleep in the car park for the night, and we stayed at the campsite on Sunday night. Clean, with all amenities. Very friendly staff. Ideal for visiting the city, with the boat right nearby.Translating
Very good location for a trip to Antwerp. Quite noisy, so you are woken early in the morning. The sanitary facilities are dated and have an unpleasant smell.Translating
A lovely place to visit the wonderful city of Antwerp. The pitches are sufficiently large and there are enough electrical connections. A little dated, but perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the site is closing at the end of the year because a new one is being built.Translating
Beautiful place, sanitary facilities clean, though somewhat dated. The old town is easy to reach: a boat nearby runs every half hour, or another boat runs every 15 minutes and is a 20-minute walk away. The latter boat also runs late in the evening.Translating
Top campsite. What a shame it is closing next year. Fairly cheap for a city campsite. Clean and sufficiently large sanitary facilities. Quiet, apart from young people playing outside next to the campsite in the early evening, but that is normal. Friendly staff. There is even an ice-cream van. Bread service at weekends, and shops are not far away. Very close to the historic centre.Translating
Beautiful campsite for visiting Antwerp. You can reach central Antwerp in ten minutes through the tunnel under the river or by boat. The toilets are mixed. Supermarkets are nearby. Good cycling connection to the city. Some pitches have electricity far away. Reception/bar is open only at certain times. Beautiful surroundings surrounded by parks. Skate park right next door.Translating
The campsite is easy to access, the staff are friendly, and it is close to the sea. I recommend it.Translating
Ideal place for trips to Antwerp. Excellent connections: water bus about three minutes away, ferry about a 15-minute walk. Friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities were very dirty in winter. Pitches are large enough but become very muddy in the rain. Electricity costs €7 for 6A (1,380 W), which is quite expensive.Translating
The site is not attractive and far too expensive in winter. We were there from 29 to 30 December 2025. The sanitary building urgently needs renovation. Charging €7 for 1,000 watts of electricity is outrageous; we will definitely not return.Translating
Excellent campsite for a weekend in Antwerp.
Very charming campsite. Do check the website for nearby events; we had a very quiet night. Very clean sanitary facilities and waste area. Very friendly welcome!
We arrived spontaneously and still found plenty of space at 3 p.m. The site is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are clean. There had been an event the day before, but it had been announced on the campsite's website. So check there just to be safe; you can also book easily through the website.
Perfect location for visiting Antwerp, but the campsite is rather chaotically organised. It is a social employment project, which we support. However, the staff are not properly managed. As a result, someone walks around with a leaf blower all day while another man watches videos on his phone instead of cleaning the sanitary facilities. This is not a place for peace and quiet.
A really nice, small campsite. Check-in can easily be completed online. Toilets and showers are absolutely fine. Everything is designed with great care. Generally very quiet, except that noise-sensitive people like me can constantly hear a low rumble, probably from the nearby container port. The price is basically justified, apart from €7 for electricity, which I find very expensive.
Very centrally located site directly opposite the city centre, reachable by free ferry. Slightly alternative in style, friendly and functional, not for glamping enthusiasts. A lovely, genuinely cosy bar under a tent canopy at the entrance. Friendly, helpful staff. Note: this is city camping in the middle of Antwerp, so do not expect woodland tranquillity.
We fled today, 25 September, because of the unbearable noise from next door, even though we had paid until Friday.
Beautiful campsite with clean sanitary facilities. The scheduled boat gets you to the city quickly. There are several restaurants nearby. Also very well located for an overnight stop when travelling to or from the UK.
Nice campsite with everything you need, but unfortunately it was very noisy at night because of the neighbourhood.
Excellent location with a very friendly welcome and staff. The only drawback was that there were slightly too few sanitary facilities for the number of pitches.
Nice, clean city campsite. Note that it is inside the low-emission zone, so apply for a permit online in good time. The water bus takes you to the centre of Antwerp in a few minutes for €1. There is a herb-picking garden at reception. We will definitely return.
A very loud burner noise continued all night from an installation directly behind the fence, right next to the tent meadow. People with tents should avoid Tent Meadow A; it is extremely noisy. It is also completely incomprehensible why benches with tables are in the motorhome area instead of near the tents. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly, there is a power strip for charging, and the sanitary facilities are fine.
A wonderful campsite. Across the river from the heart of Antwerp, with free ferry just a couple of minutes walk away. The campsite is a delight, as is Antwerp. A great spot to stay for a few days. Paid €20 for one person. Shower and facilities all good. The site is within the low emissions zone so registration needed within one day of arriving on the Antwerp low emissions web site.
Very well located for visiting Antwerp. The outdated sanitary facilities—four toilets and three showers—are definitely insufficient for the many people on the site. Queues and pre-warmed toilet seats, at least during peak times, are inevitable. Two stars for the good location and one star for the friendly staff.
Close to the city, which is easy to reach. Numerous places to eat and drink nearby. On arrival you receive a brochure explaining the campsite and giving tips for visiting the city. The small pitches are spacious enough for a six-metre campervan. The electrical connection points are very far apart; in some places, a 20-metre cable is not enough.
Basic facilities with faulty taps; hot water is available only in the showers. No Wi-Fi on the pitches. Many cigarette butts on the ground—please think of the next users. Close to the city, especially via the Santa Anna tunnel for bicycles and pedestrians.
Campsite well located for visiting Antwerp via the free boat shuttle, a 20-minute walk away, or the paid one, five minutes away, costing €1 return per person. A little noisy because of a nearby skate park and swimming pool, but it becomes quieter after 10 p.m.
If the location and connections were not so perfect, we would advise against it. You choose your own pitch, but the site is completely full and everything is cramped. Sometimes people squeeze between awnings and cars to reach the washroom. There are no paths between the pitches. The washroom is hopelessly overworked, old, not very clean, and smells musty. Only some pitches have electricity.
Very good place for visiting Antwerp. Three minutes from the campsite there is a water bus that takes you to the town hall for €1.
Beautiful, clean and cosy campsite. Very friendly and helpful staff. The wonderful city of Antwerp is nearby and easy to reach on foot or by bicycle via the free ferry, the pedestrian/bicycle tunnel, or the water bus (€1).
Good location for visiting Antwerp. The water bus takes you to the city for one euro. Fairly clean place.
Campsite very well located for visiting Antwerp. Very clean sanitary facilities.
Great campsite near water bus €1 each way or a 15 minute walk to the free ferry. Really nice and helpful people who run the site. You can have early check in if you pay additional fee. Would definitely stay again.
