Flat parking, good views

Nice view and quiet for spending the night. Not far away there is a visitor center whose toilets are open even in the evening and at night.

We arrived at 12:00. There was still one space for our 6-by-2-meter van. It is a bit more open further on. The upper parking area is full. Nice place to visit the town and spend the night.

Toilets were a hard walk up the hill as was said in the original post. Might be a bit dark at night, sensor lights turn off pretty quick. Quiet place to park, parking meter didn’t work, as was the case for those further up the street. We stayed during the week, in the morning you hear the kids from the local school. Otherwise perfect place to spend the night and enjoy the sunset and the views.

A wonderful place, no services, with untreated water nearby. There is a parking meter that does not work. We spent a quiet night here together with others.

It is impossible to park in the village with a motorhome because its streets are so narrow. We parked 1 km from the village of Relva, in an open area opposite Restaurante Jovem on Héroes de Ultramar Street, where the police told us motorhomes were allowed. From Relva, a free minibus leaves every 10 minutes and takes you up to Monsanto, and large dogs are allowed.

Supposedly a paid car park with parking meters.

Perfect for visiting the town, which is well worth seeing. Fairly flat, free, a quiet night, and the entrance is not as complicated as the comments suggest. You have to go slowly to avoid scraping, but with a 7-meter vehicle we had no problems.

We stayed there. It is the closest place for visiting the village. Before the bend is the GNR office. We parked only during the day, but it is a good location and level. Beautiful village.

We spent one night there; there were two vans and one motorhome. We recommend the space on the right, above the bend, as it has the best view. The climb to the castle is somewhat strenuous but unforgettable. We recommend the village grocery store in Relva, before Monsanto, which feels very 1960s.

Quiet night, fairly flat. Would only recommend for smaller campers. Nice clean toilets up the road on the right side at the multipurpose building, just head around the left through the wooden door, seemed to be open all night.

Small free parking area at the village entrance. No services. The night is quiet. Good starting point for a walk: go uphill, turn left at Penedos Duo, through a beautiful area full of prehistoric features and onward to a Moorish/Roman fort. Used in House of the Dragon. Interesting village built entirely into the rocks.

Small parking area that I recommend mainly for vans and panel vans. I confirm that the parking meters are currently out of order. It is the only parking area at the foot of the village.

We spent a quiet night here near the beautiful village. The parking meters are apparently out of service depending on the season. There is a small shop near the post office in the village where you can order bread.

Not recommended for 8-meter motorhomes. The rear of the vehicle scrapes when entering. In October, you can park along the road just below. Easy turnaround there, and the climb is also easy. If the weather is good, you can stay in the large car park in the village below and walk up.

Perfect spot. Free, clean, a short walk up to the village. My only sadness was that the village has been completely taken over by Game of Thrones propaganda!

Small parking space just below town—fairly flat and quiet, making for a good night’s sleep. Though there's a sign indicating it's a paid car park, the machines were wrapped and inactive. We weren’t disturbed and shared the space with four other campervans/motorhomes. There's a small fountain nearby (likely not drinkable) and free public toilets just a few minutes up the street.

For one night and to see the village, which is a treasure, with toilets open 24 hours. Very good, and very friendly people.
