34A Calle Proyecto 10, 46160, Chulilla
Been here?
A daytime parking spot with a fantastic panoramic view over the gorges and surrounding relief. Access is difficult, steep and rocky, with tight hairpins; a 4x4 is recommended, although a 6.4m Ducato can reach it carefully. Local information says overnight stays are forbidden because the site is considered part of the national park.

Nice location, but locals have told us that it's forbidden to stay overnight due to it being part of the national park. However, looking at maps it seems the location is outside the park. The drive up in a 6.4m Ducato is doable, but raises the pulse....Bit tight in some of the hairpins and steep.
Difficult climb; the short van crawls along in first gear, slowly to avoid stones bouncing against the lower side panels, but it is passable because there are no ruts. Once at the top, you are alone in the world, surrounded by scrubland, with a panoramic view over the gorges and mountains. Stop 400 meters before the end, on the small platform—see the photo with the pine tree—for a very peaceful spot. Then walk to the reservoir for the bird’s-eye view over Chulilla.Translating
