Waterside parking, no overnight

Very nice place to stay during the day and walk along the water. A short walk from Wijdenes airport, where there is also a small beach. Overnight stays are not allowed at either place. Enforcement officers regularly come by, even though there is no sign at this location prohibiting overnight stays.

Nice daytime parking area, for example for walking the dog by the water. Unfortunately, this place is not suitable for overnight stays. The police visited us in the evening and politely asked us to leave.

A wonderful place to sleep with a great view. It is very windy, but that only adds to the coziness. It fills up quickly, but in our opinion five or six vehicles fit without disturbing one another.

Superb spot facing the sea and right by the water.

Very windy. Many wild birds, perfect for photography. Muddy in places, especially in the middle. Very good view. Not secluded because of many cars and hikers on top of the dike.

I am giving it two stars because when we were there, it was extremely windy and therefore the waves were very noisy. Also, in the morning, the police came to warn us that overnight camping is prohibited throughout the Netherlands and can result in a fine of more than €100. You must sleep in campsites.

Beautiful spot, but beware of the grass; it is easy to get stuck.

Very pleasant, quiet place by the sea :)

There was a van and a 4x4 the same evening, but there were no problems with the police and we slept very peacefully. Great spot by the water. However, do not count on 4G; reception is very poor here, with a maximum of one bar and very high latency. Not good for working.

Beautiful place with lots of space. There is also a special passage for walking your dog, which can run free there.

We had a very relaxed night here. There were also three other campers with us.
