Lakeside campsite, mouldy shower

The access road is paved, presumably because of the observation tower next door (great!). The sanitary facilities are very old; they were clean, but the shower was completely moldy. €34 for a motorhome over 7 meters and two adults is expensive, but normal in Lithuania. The site is very secluded, with swimming spots, picnic tables, and campfires. There is even a sauna, but it was too expensive for us (€50 for 2 hours). We were here alone Tuesday and Wednesday. Mosquito spray is essential! Almost four stars.

Basically a lovely site, beautifully located by the lake. We were allowed onto the site before it officially opened on June 1. However, the sanitary facilities could have been cleaner and newer.

The site is in a lovely location. Unfortunately, it is quite littered—the bins are overflowing and bags are standing beside them. Rubbish at the picnic areas had been there for days. Of course, the person responsible should have removed it, but the owner also seems not to care whether the place looks tidy. The sanitary facilities are old and could be cleaner. Price too high: camper €15, person €6, dog €3.

We planned to stay there for the night, but when we arrived the gate was closed. When we called the phone number, we got a vague answer "open go" After waiting for 20 minutes, no one was anywhere to be seen. We left disappointed, luckily we found a very good place nearby, 10/10. So this place was and will remain unvisited by us. Others may have better luck there 10.06.2025

We were here at the beginning of May 2025. Since the campsite was still closed due to bad weather, we were allowed to stay overnight for free. We had a very peaceful night directly by the lake. Very idyllic, right next to the observation tower. Many thanks to the owners for this generous gesture.

In the off-season, the campsite is closed. We therefore stayed in the parking area right next to the tower. If you want peace and quiet, this is where you should stay, at the end of this dead-end street.

This is not a campsite but rather a weekend picnic area for locals in a pine forest by the lake. The only sanitary facility is far away, inadequate, and dirty. Pitches with electricity are available.

A very nice place with children.

This campsite has seen better times; the infrastructure is outdated. We paid €33 for a camper, two adults, and two children. There is no convenient place for swimming, especially for small children or people who cannot swim. The only access to the water is via the floating bridge, which is in a fantastic location. Parking for our motorhome was fine.

We are very surprised by the low rating: this is a spacious, easily accessible campsite directly by the lake, with two swimming jetties. The forest provides partial shade, and there are five level pitches for motorhomes. The sanitary facilities are older but very clean, as is the kitchen. Modern disposal facilities for toilets and grey water. Price: €27 for camper and two people, €5 for electricity.

Really nice campsite at beautiful lake (good for swimming) w lots of local people and few tourists. We spent two nights and enjoyed the sun, swimming and watching families make barbecues and enjoy themselves. Lots of children hence some noise. A major drawback was toilets and showers that were not very clean including lacking soap half the time. For that reason alone I would not return.

The road to the campsite is good. We did not find the entrance from the site gate to the pitches narrow. The campsite is beside a beautiful lake accessible via jetties.
