Been here?
Shaded picnic area near the centre and shops, with access to the luge, walking trails and Via Vercors. It is busy and noisy from passing vehicles both day and night, although the trees keep it cool. The town is about 5 minutes away on foot.

Noisy spot, but cool under the trees.
Very noisy place day and night because of passing cars. Advantage: shade, close to the luge and town, with hiking trails and the Via Vercors not far away.
For a free stopover, you couldn't ask for better. Lots of shade and space. Absolutely recommended for anyone wanting to visit the Verdon area.
Great for a picnic stop on the grass. We were comfortably in the shade with a light breeze. The village is a 500-meter walk away. After the picnic, we continued toward the Montaud forest road, thinking we might find another nice spot, but this one was much better, so we returned to spend the rest of the day here.
Good for one night while passing through, but no more. The ground is sloping in some places. A busy road is just above, but it is quiet at night.
Very nice, but beware of rain—I got stuck in the mud. And of course, not in winter with snow!
Great for picnics. Shade, benches, a table, and plenty of space.
Nice place for a shady lunch but quite near the road and sloping
