1 Via Lungomare Ulisse, 88069, Squillace
Been here?
This is free asphalt parking along the seafront, close to a sandy beach, bars, and watersports rentals. It has no services and plenty of space, but recent reports mention traffic and possible music from a nearby club at weekends. The beach is attractive, though the first metres of water contain large stones, so suitable footwear is needed.

Horror, and for the first time at night I did not feel safe! When we arrived at noon, it was quiet, as usual in Italy during siesta. Afterwards it became louder and busier. It was strange that hardly anyone greeted us. At night I hung a chain between the doors for security. Men sit sprawled in their cars when women or men walk past. At night, cars raced past our motorhome honking.
A beautiful, quiet place for the night, but be careful: there is a club with music (I think on weekends outside the season). A beautiful, clean beach, and pizzas to take away from the restaurant for €5–12 if you want.
Beautiful, quiet and flat parking area with plenty of space and close to a lovely beach. Good internet, no rubbish bins. Friendly atmosphere with locals walking, jogging and driving past.
Quite nice here for a break, but there is constant traffic back and forth even in winter. We drove on and spent the night elsewhere.
Very secluded and free car park outside the season. There are some rubbish bins. The surroundings are beautiful but neglected, and the beach is somewhat dirty. We stopped for lunch and then continued.
Quiet place with few people during the day. At night it seems somewhat abandoned, although there are beach clubs and a bar on the beach.
Quiet seafront; one side is paid and one side is free. Beautiful sea.
