Super beautiful place for wonderful walks. Definitely recommended!!
Actually, it is at the Petit Ballon pass. There are quite a few spaces, including level ones along the forest track. Beautiful sunset and peaceful. Starting point for hikes.
The quiet, deserted road made us think we were driving into an unknown mountain pass, right in the middle of nature. When we reached the top, it turned out to be surprisingly busy with campers, hikers, cyclists and picnickers. Packed on Sunday, but the peace returned on Monday. We were the only camper—exactly the feeling of being in nature that P4N promised.
Magnificent view with the sound of bells and a beautiful sunset! Numerous hikes to do. Let’s continue preserving nature so we can access spots this beautiful!
A quiet place with an incredible view... We were lulled to sleep by the sound of the bells of the herd of cows next to us... To do again...
Very quiet place with a great view. Beautiful walks possible in the surrounding area.
Beautiful place, it can be a little busy. Nevertheless, a wonderful view and a lovely place for one night.
Magnificent view! Woken by a few cows early in the morning; there were only two vans in the lower car park. The upper one filled up quickly in the morning. Hikers passed by in the morning. Recommended!
The climb is absolutely worth it. We spent a night here before the Tour de France passed through. Race day was then a highlight. The mountain was full of motorhomes. Nevertheless, at around 8:30 p.m. the evening before, we still found a place about 25 metres beyond the finish-line mountain classification. Even without the Tour de France, the mountaintop is a worthwhile destination.
Very peaceful place. A little windy at night because we are almost at the top. But we woke up to wonderful sunshine and an exceptional view. I have been coming to the region since childhood, but this is the first time I have slept here in my van. It is magical.
Magnificent view and a magical place for walks.
The place is definitely beautiful, but it is no longer a secret. It was already quite full, so we stood farther back in the next car park—dreamy location! Keep the place clean!!!
Wonderful place with a great view. We stood 100 metres down the road, below the marked spots—the top spot was already occupied by a camper and there was plenty of room to spread out. The only sounds were cowbells. In the morning, we were visited by a horse and foal :)
MA GNI FI QUEU!!!!! A little crowded, but a breathtaking view, wonderfully quiet nights, and visits from neighbours (cows) every evening. If you are in the area, stop for a night—the early-morning wake-ups are magical.
Magnificent place! Superb view over the valley! We were there for the penultimate stage of the 2023 Tour! Just fantastic! Plenty of spaces for vans and motorhomes. The inn down below is perfect and very welcoming!
Rainy weather, but a breathtaking view between two layers of fog!
Very beautiful view, ultra-quiet spot. A little chilly for putting up the pop-top roof, given the date. Access via a difficult track.
Really beautiful location on the upper right after the pass. The approach is partly narrow at the pass. Ideal starting point for hikes. Surrounded by cows and goats. Various mountain inns nearby.
