This is a swimming and picnic area with barbecues and a picnic table. The area shown in the first photo now has a barrier; parking is on the left when arriving from the road. It was described as a good place for swimming, grilling, camping or picnicking, though recently it appeared bare and bleak.

You can no longer park as shown in the first photo; there is a barrier. Park in the area on the left when coming from the road. Despite the good weather, the place seemed bare and desolate, so we drove on.
Great place for swimming, barbecuing, camping, or picnicking.
