Unnamed Road, Fintra Beg
Been here?
Basic campsite directly beside a beautiful beach in Miltown Malbay, with outstanding sea views and opportunities for swimming, SUP and kayaking. Electricity and water are offered, while showers are paid and token-operated. The site is family-friendly and the owners are welcoming, but the sanitary facilities and grounds are rustic and not always clean; a van was charged €40 for one night.

The stars are for the magnificent view. Unfortunately, the owners have no standards for keeping the place tidy. They were very nice, but the sanitary facilities were neither pleasant nor clean, and the paths were not maintained. We are not looking for individual pitches, but rubbish lying around is not a good advertisement. A shame for the place, because it could be a gem! And €40 for that. Fortunately, we were self-sufficient.
The view is splendid... But we paid €40 for one night in a van! The showers cost extra and everything is, to say the least, rustic! Although initially friendly, the owner seems to take advantage of the beautiful view to charge prices that seem excessive for the service provided.
Got parked up at beach edge amazing views even seen a dolphin, lovely owner very helpful, toilets could be doing with a make over but we only stayed the one night. View makes it worth while.
Beautiful beautiful view! Right on the sea and lovely owners. Little basic but the view makes up for it. Gorgeous walk along the cliffs and dolphins came to say hi! Really lovely owners
The site is basic but the view is priceless. I could not find a way to book online, so I took a chance and went straight there. The owner is really friendly. Showers operate with tokens, and electricity is available on request. Really nice spot for swimming, SUP, or kayaking. Beautiful sunsets.
£30 for parking without electric is much too expensive. No toilet paper or soap in toilets. Owner is friendly and close by after a quick call.
Very expensive for what it is. Very basic: no socket for drying hair, only one shower for 2 minutes 50 seconds, far too windy, no toilet paper, no soap, dirty. We could not fill the water tank in the van, and the manager was absent. Avoid!
The positive aspect was the pitch directly by the water with a great view of the bay. But at €30 without electricity or a shower, it is rather expensive. The owner is a nice guy, though.
