Hedged city area, no electricity

Gates are open as “under maintenance” - no cost. The security cameras have been removed. No electricity. I stayed on 29 July 2026.

It is a good idea to welcome motorhomes, but being beside a heavily trafficked road is hell! Some cars screech their tires when starting up! Do not expect to sleep much. Fortunately, it was free when we visited.✦Translating

We spent a very quiet night here. Of course, you can hear the cars a little, but it did not disturb our sleep. Payment is by card only. The machine accepted neither an EC card nor a Visa card. Using the help button at 9 p.m., they opened the barrier for us. We were also able to leave again this morning without problems. Twenty-four hours cost €12. Very nice, divided pitches. Well-maintained motorhome area with service facilities for €12 per night. At first the machine would not let us in, but after a few minutes it worked. Valence is a 20-minute walk away. You enter and pay using a screen at the entrance. The spaces are wide but not easy to drive into, especially the rearmost ones. It is 1.5 km from Valence center and 4 km from the motorway access. At first the machine at the entrance would not switch to the menu. We drove back and forth two or three times. Do not stop too close to the barrier; then the menu popped up. After that, everything was easy: select the number of days and pay. The barrier opened after payment. The ticket hid in the slot — good luck fishing it out. I managed to park my 8 meters well. Very well maintained, clean, 10 minutes from town; a small forest and a park are even closer. We had no problems driving our 7-meter vehicle into the spaces. They are narrow, but nicely laid out with hedges separating them. We slept better than expected; the road was surprisingly quiet at night.✦Translating

You have to fish the ticket out; it hides in the opening. Yes, it is noisy, but you know that beforehand. For dog owners: walk past the rubbish containers and over the motorway bridge; it is quiet there and there are great places for dogs to enjoy themselves.✦Translating

A practical stop: quiet, clean, and secure, about 15 minutes’ walk from the center. Functional services (water, waste disposal, Wi-Fi) and easy access. The spaces are limited and there is no electricity, but for a peaceful night while visiting Valence, it does the job very well.

The place is very good, located beside the road, but we could not hear anything inside the motorhome. You have to pay €12 at the barrier before entering. If we pass through here again, we will return.

We are Argentine/Spanish. Despite the comments about noise, on 12 December 2025 we heard nothing inside the motorhome. A quiet, clean, and comfortable place to sleep peacefully and continue our journey. We paid €12.

I could not figure out how the entrance works, but at least I emptied my toilet there. When the motorhome area is on the left, a little farther ahead on the right is a free parking area, Parc Jouvet, with more than 50 spaces. The height-restriction barrier at 2.2 meters was open.

A good rest area, unfortunately located between a road and the motorway. It is very noisy. The town center is a 15-minute walk away. Good for visiting the town during the day.
