Been here?
New municipal motorhome area with 13 pitches, €12/night including water and waste disposal. Pitches are marked and separated by hedges, 15 minutes' walk from the city center, close to the cycling route and aquatic center. No electricity available. The location is very noisy due to the busy main road beside it. Card payment only. No caravans or vehicles over 9m or 3.5 tons permitted.

Gates are open as “under maintenance” - no cost. The security cameras have been removed. No electricity. I stayed on 29 July 2026.
It is a good idea to welcome motorhomes, but being beside a heavily trafficked road is hell! Some cars screech their tires when starting up! Do not expect to sleep much. Fortunately, it was free when we visited.Translating
New but very noisy. A shame because the idea is good. The design needs revising, and maintenance at the back of the pitches has not been done, reducing the available length.Translating
Beautiful marked pitches separated by hedges, with two wide concrete strips for parking without risk of getting stuck. A few minutes’ walk from the historic town center. Water and waste disposal included in the €12 fee.Translating
We spent a very quiet night here. Of course, you can hear the cars a little, but it did not disturb our sleep. Payment is by card only. The machine accepted neither an EC card nor a Visa card. Using the help button at 9 p.m., they opened the barrier for us. We were also able to leave again this morning without problems. Twenty-four hours cost €12. Very nice, divided pitches. We would gladly return.Translating
Convenient area, a little noisy during the day, with 15 comfortable spaces.Translating
No electricity. To empty the tanks, you have to return to the entrance, which is very inconvenient. Very busy road, so noisy even at night. Maintenance leaves something to be desired; weeds are starting to grow, as are tree branches. The screen is not very readable in sunlight and is not very ergonomic; you do not know what to do to start. I helped several motorhome owners who were stuck in front of the barrier.Translating
Nice place, a little bit noisy but you know that on forehand. Nice areas for walking. Nice and helpful staff that helped us when we had problem checking in. We will come back!
Beautifully made with trees and bushes. Even spaces. However, it is directly on the main road, which is very busy. You can hear the highway on the other side. I did not sleep well. I would not do it again.Translating
We could not get in with the card. Right next to the main road. Very narrow spaces. Dog poop and other rubbish. Not recommended.Translating
Pleasantly designed area, with marked and stabilized pitches, well landscaped and clean. One disabled space. Services are fine, but there is no electricity. The two drawbacks are that it is beside a busy, noisy road and that inconsiderate smokers throw their cigarette butts on the ground.Translating
Good area for the night. Not too noisy, close to shops and a cycle path. Easy to park. No electricity.Translating
Well-maintained motorhome area with service facilities for €12 per night. At first the machine would not let us in, but after a few minutes it worked. Valence is a 20-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the location between the main road and the motorway is very noisy, though earplugs help.Translating
Very good for a stop. The city is a 10-minute walk away. A shame about the noise from the roads.Translating
A motorhome area for one night while passing through. Clean services. Parking is difficult for motorhomes longer than 7 meters.Translating
€12 for 24 hours, without electricity, with the possibility of emptying tanks and filling with water. Thirteen spaces, including one for disabled users. After 6 p.m., all spaces are occupied. Ten minutes from the center. Cycle path at the exit. Not too noisy. A 7.5-meter motorhome can park here, though some maneuvering is required. Stable, level ground, sufficiently large. We spent two nights here.Translating
You enter and pay using a screen at the entrance. The spaces are wide but not easy to drive into, especially the rearmost ones. It is 1.5 km from Valence center and 4 km from the motorway access. Many shops nearby. €13 per night, with water and a dumping point. Drawback: lots of motorway and main-road noise.Translating
At first the machine at the entrance would not switch to the menu. We drove back and forth two or three times. Do not stop too close to the barrier; then the menu popped up. After that, everything was easy: select the number of days and pay. The barrier opened after payment. The ticket hid in the slot — good luck fishing it out. I managed to park my 8 meters well. I liked the place!Translating
Very nice and good place.Translating
Very well maintained, clean, 10 minutes from town; a small forest and a park are even closer. We had no problems driving our 7-meter vehicle into the spaces. They are narrow, but nicely laid out with hedges separating them. We slept better than expected; the road was surprisingly quiet at night.Translating
You have to fish the ticket out; it hides in the opening. Yes, it is noisy, but you know that beforehand. For dog owners: walk past the rubbish containers and over the motorway bridge; it is quiet there and there are great places for dogs to enjoy themselves.Translating
Very nice, separated pitches within walking distance of the center. At €12, they are more than worth the price. Tip: when entering, the dumping point is immediately on your right. Empty and fill up first, otherwise you will have to reverse all the way to it.Translating
Clean. Very small pitches, suitable only for panel vans. Noisy because it is directly on the main road. Parking becomes quite difficult from 6.8 meters onward. We have paid and entered, and will stay one night. We would not come again.
Very nicely laid-out, divided pitches with good, clean service facilities. Quiet at night despite being close to the road. Five minutes to the cycle and walking path along the Rhône. Ten to fifteen minutes’ walk to the city center. The barrier machine is actually easy to use: tap “payer et stationner.” You can also change the language using the option below. €12 per 24 hours.
Very nice demarcated pitches within walking distance of the center. For €12, more than worth the price. Tip: the dumping point is immediately on your right when entering, so dump and take on water first, otherwise you will have to reverse to it.
Nice place, but the entrance machine’s software needs to be revised. Even French people could not figure it out.
Nice place for one or two days, clean, with complete service included in the parking fee. You can hear road traffic a little at night, but we still slept very well.
No electricity. We came for the nearby swimming pool, but unfortunately all the roads leading to it seemed to be closed. There is a beautiful park and an adjoining shopping area within walking distance. Fine place to sleep for one night. €12.
Unfortunately, no electricity; otherwise everything is available. The road did not bother us and we slept well. Fifteen minutes’ walk into town. The many shopping opportunities are bad for the holiday budget :)
No electricity, otherwise everything is available. The road did not disturb us and we slept well. Fifteen minutes’ walk into town. The many shopping options are a strain on the holiday budget :)
Motorhome area well located relative to Valence center, but poorly located for noise, between a busy road and the motorway. No water on 8 January 2026. Well-defined pitches.
Well-defined pitches. Free access today; we were able to use the services. Thank you, Valence.
Expensive without electricity; there are free parking areas with the same services.
A practical stop: quiet, clean, and secure, about 15 minutes’ walk from the center. Functional services (water, waste disposal, Wi-Fi) and easy access. The spaces are limited and there is no electricity, but for a peaceful night while visiting Valence, it does the job very well.
The place is very good, located beside the road, but we could not hear anything inside the motorhome. You have to pay €12 at the barrier before entering. If we pass through here again, we will return.
We are Argentine/Spanish. Despite the comments about noise, on 12 December 2025 we heard nothing inside the motorhome. A quiet, clean, and comfortable place to sleep peacefully and continue our journey. We paid €12.
I could not figure out how the entrance works, but at least I emptied my toilet there. When the motorhome area is on the left, a little farther ahead on the right is a free parking area, Parc Jouvet, with more than 50 spaces. The height-restriction barrier at 2.2 meters was open.
A good rest area, unfortunately located between a road and the motorway. It is very noisy. The town center is a 15-minute walk away. Good for visiting the town during the day.
