Been here?
A secluded, flat parking spot below the castle with a view, but access is narrow, bumpy and suitable only for small vehicles. The gate requires good ground clearance, and overhanging branches make it unsuitable for vehicles higher than 1.50m. Metallic debris can cause punctures, while traffic is audible from the road below.

The view is truly beautiful, but reaching the castle through the gate is only possible with sufficient ground clearance. With our 5.40 m Ducato, I did not dare to try it (see pictures). In front of the iron gate there is a small parking area for a break with a view, which is fine, but I would not spend the night there.Translating
It’s a very nice place, but due to the overhanging branches, causing scratches on my van, I would not recommend for anything higher than 1.50m. It also has some nasty metallic debris that got me a flat tire ?
The place is quiet and isolated, but the view is nothing special and you can hear some traffic from the road down in the valley. Access is difficult: a rough dirt road and a very uneven entrance through the gate (visible in the last photo; I wanted to add another one, but the photo limit had already been reached). Decent internet connection: 2–3 bars of 4G.Translating
Wow, a fantastic, secluded parking spot for one motorhome at a time, right on the summit or beside the gate. The 360° view is breathtaking. The approach is indeed somewhat tricky, with coarse gravel and low-hanging branches. But anyone who knows and can handle their vehicle should have no problems here. White motorhomes should nevertheless be warned: they will definitely pick up a few scratches.Translating
