A remote, paved parking area in the middle of the forest, offering exceptional quiet and hiking opportunities. The final 5 (five!)km follow a narrow forest road and can be difficult for motorhomes, especially vehicles over 3.5 tons. The parking area is level, but it is also used for forestry storage. Mobile phone reception is unavailable.

For motorhomes, the last 5 (five!) km on a narrow forest road become a problem if, as happened to me, two tractors come towards you. You then have to reverse a long way to find a passing place without driving into the ditch! So do not go.
Worth five stars! Beautiful place, lovely walks, and very peaceful. A few hunters drive past on their way to their hunting stands. The rubbish bin was emptied neatly on Monday morning. The access road is narrow, though! Not suitable for large motorhomes because the verges are soft.
Very quiet parking lot in the middle of the forest. The approach was a bit tricky. Driving through forest tracks almost in the dark is quite an adventure. But you are rewarded with absolute peace and quiet.
We had a quiet night here, peaceful and clean. Walkers and cyclists arrived in the morning. The approach via Glashüttenweg only is recommended; difficult for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. The “parking lot” is actually also a forestry storage area for wood pellets.
Nice place to stay, with pleasant walks. In the middle of the forest and very quiet. No phone reception. The parking lot is level.
