Been here?
A small campsite on grass near the centre, with toilets, waste-water emptying, water and electricity included. Showers cost 0.50€/4 minutes, and dogs are accepted for an additional charge. The nearby main road can be noisy, and recent comments describe limited walking options for dogs. The centre is about 20 minutes away by bicycle.

A small, manageable site with friendly owners. Ideal for cycling trips to Alkmaar, Bergen aan Zee, and so on. The showers were clean. Surprisingly, showers cost €0.50 at a campsite. ACSI price €25. Pizza can be ordered at reception on weekends.
We think this site is simply excellent. A wonderful, very friendly family runs it. Everything is available. Bus and train connections to Amsterdam. If you want to go for a walk, there is a lovely path behind the site toward the windmill. I can recommend the site. Many thanks to the family.
We stayed three nights at this beautiful campsite. The staff were very kind and gave us a small gift when we left. Highly recommended.
Nice place, happy to find a winter camping spot
Very nice campsite. Paved pitches, which nevertheless become quite wet and muddy in the rain. The sanitary facilities are absolutely excellent. A minor drawback is the €0.50 fee per four minutes for showers. Water services and waste disposal included. Very friendly reception. €71 for two nights, two people, and one camper.
Basically a good site, cleanliness okay. Unsuitable for dog owners, as there is nowhere to walk; the site is directly on the main road and there is nothing to walk to. Without a bicycle or car, you are stuck. Price-performance ratio okay.
Scenically beautiful campsite on a former farm near Alkmaar. Friendly host. Inexpensive. Adequate pitch size. The nearby road is a disadvantage for noise-sensitive guests. Overall, however, we enjoyed our time at this site.
It was great for one night with the camper. There was no briefing about the site, and the showers required coins. Otherwise, it was very pleasant for a short visit.
De Boekel or the debacle? Musty carpets in the winding reception area. Apparently every square metre is used to squeeze in a vehicle—by the tractor shed, with one metre of grass in front of the toilets, or next to the rubbish containers. Wi-Fi costs €1 per person per day and rarely works, or only in certain places on the site. Sanitary facilities are musty and outdated. The €16 boat tour was okay.
Great site, clean and quiet. We would gladly return.
Very warm welcome; the owner speaks French well. Clean campsite and sanitary facilities. Close to Alkmaar by bicycle or by boat departing from the campsite.
Good family-run site with everything you need. It is attached to an agricultural business. No ACSI, but card payment is possible. We booked two nights and stayed four. One star deducted because the sanitary facilities could be a little cleaner. We visited both Alkmaar and Egmond aan Zee by bicycle.
Well-maintained and clean campsite. Many pitches, mostly on grass, with some on compact ground. Children’s games and two pedal go-karts are available and were much appreciated. Strategic location for the north of the Netherlands: Alkmaar 10 minutes away, Amsterdam 30 minutes, Hoorn and Texel 45 minutes.
Friendly welcome, pleasant small campsite. You do have to stay two days—that’s the deal—otherwise move on!
They refuse to let you stay for just one night, even though the campsite was half empty. €59.60 for two nights (two people and the motorhome), showers extra. No boat because the following day was King’s Day.
