Riverside site, tight bays

Great location, next to brewery & restaurant( Fabulous food & beers), and a decent swimming pool (5mins walk). Spaces decent sized, arrive, find a space and pay at restaurant. Perfect for a stopover or short stay. Some spaces in shade of trees. Toilets, showers very clean but 2 showers , 1 male , 1 female toilet.

I cannot say anything negative; the site is central, and the showers with hot water and toilets were clean. Wi-Fi is available on the site.

The service and waste-disposal facilities are unhygienic and only permitted at very restricted times.

Well, the site is relatively central. The toilets are public and not clean. The showers are also rather neglected. Fresh water is right next to the disposal area. The brewery is quite okay. When we arrived, the barrier was defective and payment could only be made in cash... who knows why... Better stick to the farms.

we stopped here for 2 nights. The spaces are a bit tight for turning if you have a big vehicle. Ours is 7.5m so ok. Perfect spot for seeing the salt towers and the beautiful park which is right next door. The River Nahe runs alongside the site. It's about a 25 min very pleasant walk along the river footpath to the town, there are also buses.

Beautiful camper spot directly on the Nahe. We ate well at the adjacent brewery. Bread rolls can be ordered easily. €1 for six minutes of showering is completely sufficient, even for two people. Drawbacks: there is a lot of goose and duck droppings throughout the site. There is no waste separation.

We were satisfied. There is good access for cycling and hiking, and you can quickly reach the center or spa park.

Regarding the hiking trails, it is advisable to first go to the start of the circular routes, for example across the bridge and then along the narrow connecting path to the right toward the town center if you want to reach the rocks. Do not take the trail on the left; it is poorly maintained. The site and restaurant are good. The location is excellent. It is about 5 km to the town center and back along the Nahe, and about 8 km to the rock.

Beautiful location, but very neglected. Behind a fenced-off area on the motorhome site are old piles of restaurant rubbish, with rats. We did not visit the restaurant for that reason. Fresh water does not work despite inserting money. Cassette emptying is possible, but there is no water for cleaning. Not recommended for the price.

Friendly reception; for one night without a spa card... The restaurant is quite okay and the food is good. The site fee is reasonable, but the way cassette emptying is handled is not: rinsing the toilet cassette costs 20 cents, little money but completely pointless. The fresh-water supply is poorly designed; while it is in use, nobody can pass through the barrier.

Good location, friendly welcome at the brewery. Ideal for exploring the town. Clean sanitary facilities. You should not miss eating at the brewery.

The site may only be recommended in good weather; otherwise it is dark, neglected and very cramped. Waste disposal also leaves much to be desired.

We were there during the week; at weekends it could indeed become cramped. Some pitches are directly on the Nahe. Although the toilet was public, we found it reasonably clean. The Brauwerk restaurant offered good food. The beer garden, with a small and simple menu, was okay. The Salinenpark with plenty of green space was right next door. The spa park and town were accessible by bicycle.

Good location near the center, with the healing tunnels 2 km away. Pitches are too small, and the two toilets are also used by restaurant visitors, far too few. Fresh water directly next to grey-water and chemical disposal is completely unhygienic. A noisy kindergarten is next to the site. The operator is also the restaurant manager. Food at Brauwerk is mediocre.

Area next to the brewery, acceptable for one night. The actual price including the tourist tax was €24.80, not proportionate to the quality of the service. The beer and pork knuckle at the brewery were excellent.

€21 paid in the brewery, barrier controlled, flat and peaceful. Enough space to sit beside motorhome and have canopy out. Short walk to town. Flat. Lovely food, reasonably priced in onsite restaurants and bar.

The site is okay, the pitches are tight and the sanitary facilities are so-so, but the location is excellent for exploring Bad Kreuznach on foot or by bicycle. The tourist tax is included in the price; the operator cannot do anything about that. Tip: definitely try the brewery's beer and beer bread, the cakes at Café Wahl and the menu at Restaurant Mühlentor—everything is excellent. On Sundays, dance in the spa park to burn it off.

The location is very good, with everything reachable on foot. €21 is a very steep price; water costs extra, and as other users have already written, you cannot rinse the toilet, while people empty everything over the grate instead of into the actual inlet beside it. The brewery employee at reception was not particularly motivated either.

We actually find the site okay, but when some users dump their completely full chemical toilet into the grate instead of the lidded opening, and do not even rinse away the waste, it is disgusting. Not proper camper behavior. The ordered bread rolls were left in a basket under the roof, accessible to everyone.

I wonder where all of you have been. We came from France with wonderfully beautiful pitches. This site, however, is impersonal, the electrical supply is dangerously unsafe, chemical-toilet and grey-water disposal are restricted, and the waste disposal is criminal. It is questionable that the city of Bad Kreuznach apparently cannot provide closed waste containers.

All in all, a nice site directly beside the brewery with good food, but at €21 for one night, rinsing the cassette toilet should be included. We also had the misfortune of an unbelievably loud night. An infernal noise kept us awake for hours; some incredibly loud machine started making noise around 12:30 a.m. and continued for several hours. Never again!

Great site, great location, great pub next door. Good air thanks to the salt works. BUT the sanitary facilities are inadequate. Only two toilets and one shower. The shower costs extra and is public; it was also used by outside groups. Drinking water costs extra, including water for rinsing the cassette, and is charged by time rather than quantity, so I only got 2 instead of 10 liters. What a shame!

The site is interesting only because of its location. There are designated cycling and hiking trails. The food at the brewery is good. The shower costs extra, and the heating has been turned off. The service and waste disposal are inadequate. There is a drainage channel about one meter long, which many motorhome users miss. Many hold their chemical toilets under the fresh-water taps to rinse them. Disgusting.

The site was good and the toilets were clean. When registering, ask whether you received the correct code for the departure day. Our code was invalid. Thanks to a friendly camper who had left the site before us and gave us her code, we were able to leave. Apparently the codes are assigned by weekday.

The site is okay, but quite muddy in bad weather. The Nahe is very loud here, so you have to like that. Water and showers all cost extra. It is a 25–30-minute walk to the town, which is worth seeing, including the bridge houses.
