1 An der Elbe, 39596, Arneburg
Been here?
Quiet, fee-paying parking on a large meadow directly beside the Elbe at Arneburg marina. The price is 16€ per night and includes access to clean toilets and showers, while there is no electricity, water tap or grey- or toilet-waste disposal. The site is suited to walking and cycling along the river, with a nearby restaurant and an unpaved approach that may be less reassuring after prolonged rain.

Nice quiet pitch on a meadow directly by the Elbe. Wonderful for setting off directly through the Elbe meadows with your dog. The sanitary facilities on site are clean and accessible with a code obtained when checking in at the harbor center. There is a small terrace restaurant on site with a wide view over the Elbe landscape. Very relaxing.Translating
Exactly right if you are looking for peace and quiet. Great meadow pitch on the Elbe and a very nice harbor master. Toilets and showers are very modern and always clean! Just right for one weekend; we will come back!Translating
Beautiful idyllic site, ideal for excursions on foot or by bicycle. €16 per night—well, somewhat borderline, but the toilet and shower have to be cleaned too. The bistro is highly recommended....Translating
Beautifully situated on the Elbe, on a large meadow. A restaurant with toilet and shower is nearby. Open from April to the end of October. The restaurant on the castle hill with viewing platform and park is worth visiting. The pizzeria in the town center is also highly recommended. Open daily from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Cycling is easy.Translating
Everything as described; the location is fantastic, which somewhat justifies the price. Otherwise, it is ultimately just a piece of meadow. A small drawback is the unpaved access road, which was not very reassuring after prolonged rain.Translating
Super quiet site, friendly harbor master who was also able to give me information about the planned nuclear power plant. Free choice of pitch, clean sanitary building.Translating
A really quiet, beautiful site, very well maintained, as is the whole village. Very friendly harbor master. €16 including fresh water and toilets is still reasonable. The signs are somewhat counterproductive: as someone already wrote, do not turn left to the office; drive straight to the Elbe and then left to the pitch, and walk to the office afterward. Turning around at the office is difficult.Translating
Beautiful, clean pitch on the Elbe meadows directly in front of the Arneburg escarpment. A great place for those seeking peace and nature lovers. Large, unpartitioned pitches. Clean sanitary facilities. However, there is no waste disposal or electricity. @Attention: despite the no-entry sign, drive along the paved path to the Elbe and then parallel to the Elbe to the yacht harbor/pitch.Translating
Great pitch directly on the Elbe. Wonderful nature with a cute little town. Clean sanitary facilities; you need a €1 coin for the shower. The only drawback is that rubbish costs extra. I would still come back anytime.Translating
We were very surprised by how quiet the site directly on the Elbe is. It is a real insider tip for campers who want to truly switch off. The site is easy to drive on and you park directly by the Elbe. Electricity and water services are unavailable, but toilets and showers are included in the €16 price. We would be happy to come back!Translating
Beautifully maintained grass site. Unfortunately without electricity or water, but there is a washroom with toilet and shower (€1). It was clean. The pitch for one motorhome and a small tent cost €16.Translating
I have rarely seen anything so beautiful. The site is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Anyone looking for peace will find it here. Absolutely recommended; we will definitely come back! Many thanks to the incredibly kind harbor master.Translating
Very nice site on a large, well-kept meadow directly by the Elbe. Toilet included, shower €1, pitch €16 per night. Highly recommended.Translating
If you love nature, you are very well looked after here. After we arrived, the harbor master came by to collect the fee. You can pay the €16, but you do not have to. The shower costs another €1, which is fine. All in all, a very beautiful place to unwind!Translating
It is very nice here. I can only agree with the other visitors’ positive comments. Excellent, apart from the facilities. But then you simply have to arrive prepared accordingly.Translating
Pitch on a meadow directly by the Elbe, very beautiful for nature lovers and sunrises. Very nice harbor master. The old town is worth seeing, with many information boards.Translating
A very beautiful place, everything for nature lovers. Very green and quiet. The harbor master is cheerful and friendly. Highly recommended; you can fish well here. The old town is very beautiful. However, we missed waste disposal. We would be happy to come back.Translating
I think this place is a rip-off: €5 extra for a small bag of rubbish. I took my rubbish with me and disposed of it elsewhere in a free rubbish bin.Translating
Great nature-oriented pitch directly on the Elbe near the yacht harbor. Lots of space! Clean showers and toilets, and a very helpful site manager/harbor master. Bistro with a beautiful view within walking distance. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and for individualists. Walking opportunities. Nice town. Highly recommended.Translating
If, like us, you are magically drawn to water and a view of the water is one of your most important pitch criteria, then this is the place for you! In principle, it is just a mown meadow, but if you stand at the front, you are right on the bank of the Elbe. You could even swim. It is completely quiet. View of the town with its old church, and a nice harbor master—we felt completely at home!Translating
What an idyllic little spot, a great starting point for a bike ride to Tangermünde. You can fish. A very nice employee gave us tips about the area. We spent two very peaceful nights close to nature. Highly recommended.
Of course it is a beautiful place, but I am amazed at how someone can financially secure themselves by mowing a meadow and charging for nature, fresh air and a location by the Elbe. A few years ago, when campers had just discovered it, it was free; now it is over €16, and tomorrow perhaps €20 or soon €25? The land is nature and riverside, like everywhere along the Elbe, and may not even be in the harbor master’s land register. The harbor is on the other side.
Beautiful site directly on the Elbe. Showers and toilets available. Pitch €16, showers €1, waste disposal €5. Dogs allowed on a leash. A very nice harbor master who shows and explains everything. We stayed one night; it was very quiet and idyllic.
A very nice place. If you love nature and do not need luxury, you are in the right place. The harbor master is very nice. Prices are somewhat excessive: €16 plus €12 for rubbish would have been enough. The site cost €8.50 a year ago.
We used this site for an overnight stop on the way to the Mecklenburg Lake District. There were two other campers there. Plenty of space on a meadow. No electricity, but we could use the toilets and showers at the harbor master’s office with a code. For us light sleepers, the church bells ringing every hour during the night were somewhat annoying. Otherwise, a great place with a bistro and fair prices.
We had two fantastic nights. €16 is fine for us. The toilet and shower were very clean. There is a bistro on site with delicious food and drinks at moderate prices. The couple who run it are very funny. Attention: a major event will take place on the grounds on June 22. The site is closed from June 17 to 24 and will reopen afterward!
The site is extremely beautiful on the Elbe. The church and frogs are the only things you can hear. Otherwise, it is wonderfully quiet. There is no shade and unfortunately nothing for campers’ needs apart from the toilet and shower (€1 for the shower). The harbor masters are very nice and happy to chat.
Beautiful site. Very quiet. You can hear the frogs. Clean toilet and showers. The harbor master is very nice and gives tips. Great!
Wonderful, peaceful site on the Elbe. The showers could be maintained a little better, but otherwise it is really lovely here.
