Iso Puistotie, 00140, Helsinki
Been here?
This is a leafy parking area beside a park, now generally very quiet overnight and within walking distance of Helsinki’s market hall, harbour and centre. Parking is payable from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. via Easypark at 2.30€ per hour, with a 24-hour limit. There are no services, but a K Market is 250m away. The former club appears no longer to operate, and the area suits large motorhomes.

Super-quiet motorhome stop by a park, a few minutes' walk from the market hall and harbor. Fair EasyPark arrangement. We stayed here with three campers in the greenery. The club apparently no longer exists; the building clearly has not been used for some time.
Good place, reasonably quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, a local drift enthusiast came along, spun donuts around the parking area several times, raised dust and drove away.
Tree-lined place, very quiet. Ideal for visiting Helsinki, very close to the center. Paid parking during the day until 9 p.m. We stayed overnight, very peacefully with two other motorhomes. Very suitable for large motorhomes. No services, but we did not need any, and there is a K-Market 250 m away.
Wonderful, quiet place to park, and you can be in the city within 10 minutes. We did not stay overnight, although that would probably be fine.
Good parking area for exploring the city; easy to pay via EasyPark. We did not sleep here.
Very quiet night, and the large park next to it is great! 15 minutes' walk to the city.
Parked here during the daytime while visiting the city center. Cheaper than the parking lots next to the market/Olympiaterminaali and only a couple minutes extra walk . Enough space for our 7.5m van.
Given the location and green surroundings near the water, it’s well worth the price. Super safe and a short walk from town.
For a capital city, it’s hard to do better than this parking area, right in the heart of a beautiful wooded park (ideal with dogs) and close to the center (15–20 minutes on foot). It also seems very safe (lots of people passing through during the day). We spent two very quiet nights here during the week. In our opinion, it’s a much better option than the much more remote and expensive campsite.
Great place, within walking distance of city. Beautiful park to walk the dog. It was very quiet at night (under the week).
Nice spot to park but was limited to 24 hours which was annoying. I was staying in town at an Airbnb and wanted to park my van here for 3 days but could not.
The city is very quickly accessible and the night was very quiet.
We left our motorhome in this parking lot while we were visiting the city center which we reached with a short walk and we felt very safe. Around 10 AM we easily got a place for our 23 feet long motorhome although the parking lot isn't very spacious, it was flat and poorly shaded but unpaved. It wasn't very noisy and nobody bothered us, we were a few motorhomes parked there.
Perfect place to explore Helsinki; the city center is just a few minutes away on foot. Wonderful and quiet for sleeping, as it is at the end of a dead-end street. If you walk over the hill past the observatory, there is a public toilet about 500 meters away—clean and open 24/7. We certainly won’t be here for the last time.
Great spot by the park, very quiet at night and close to the center—what more could you want?
Arrived in Helsinki and spent our first night here. Totally quiet; it simply costs €2 per hour from 9:00 to 21:00. Right in the park and close to the harbor.
Good place to stop while visiting the city. Paid via EasyPark from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., free at night. We stayed on Thursday; I don’t know whether the club opposite is open on weekends, but in any case its sign was lit. Very quiet at night, with a lovely park around it.
Perfect, quiet spot! Large enough even for bigger vehicles. Fifteen minutes’ walk to the center. Payment is made via the EasyPark app. The club opposite no longer exists, and there is hardly any disruptive traffic.
Good place for visiting the old center and strolling at the southern end of the park, with lovely bars by the water.
We stayed here for 24 hours in complete silence. Walking to the center is no problem.
A great spot in winter: the club is closed, there is a wonderful park for people and dogs, and it’s a short walk to the center. Payment is by app; free from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. We were the only ones there overnight.
Perfect choice for parking during the day because it is close to the center. But even on weekdays there is partying until 3–4 a.m. at night. Payment only works via the app. You have to pay from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Quiet at night (except Friday and Saturday nights because of the club). Large park and the sea next to it. Free on Saturday and Sunday.
We spent just one whole day and one night there. There is a dance club, which was closed on Tuesday, so we had a silent night. Even we have seen a rabbit in the park.
We stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday night with no issues. Some people talking loudly and some cars late at night but that didn't bother us. Quiet during the day amd easy to get a place. Ideal base to explore helsinki from.
Very good location during the day but impossible at night because the club right next door opens around 11 p.m. and the noise makes it impossible to sleep here.
Good and quiet parking lot. Also reasonably priced for Helsinki. However, the garbage collection came at 6 a.m. and someone came to water the trees. After that it was quiet again.
