Little Texas

We spent two wonderful, peaceful days and nights with Erik. Everything is clean and well maintained, with lots of care. Erik is a great and uncomplicated host.

Five stars are far too few for this charming little place. A warm welcome; we immediately felt welcome. The site left nothing to be desired, and the food and drinks were excellent, with a very fair price-performance ratio. The pool is open 24 hours. There is nothing that could be improved. Unfortunately, our schedule allowed only one night. Thank you Erik, see you next time, when we’ll stay longer...

Lovely motorhome site with all facilities, including a heated pool with loungers. The friendly owner Erik does everything to make you comfortable. There is also a small bar where you can have a drink, and Dutch tapas evenings. When we are in the area, we will definitely return.

Your incredibly relaxed and friendly manner, your wonderful piece of land, the delicious sangria, the great pool, the beautifully maintained site, set in this fantastic region with its incredible natural scenery—it is indescribable. I wish we could give 10 stars: Little Texas is a place you arrive at and want to stay. The owner Erik is a kind-hearted and incredibly nice person who is building up his site with lots of love, and you can see and feel it! Everything is perfectly maintained, super clean, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. We came for one night, stayed four, and will certainly return. THANK YOU ERIK <3

A lovely place to visit, where you can enjoy yourself in beautiful surroundings suitable for cycling, motorcycling, or walking. There is a beautiful heated pool and the sanitary facilities are neat. The pleasant and helpful owner, Erik, bakes fresh rolls every morning for takeaway and serves fries with snacks three times a week. He also gives many tips about places to visit in the area.

Place to be! Wonderful small camping area in the middle of nowhere. Very clean, quiet and a nice pool. Erik is very friendly and has always a smile in his face. If you’re lucky, you can have Dutch tapas! One of the best spot we had within three weeks in Andalusia. Thanks for all!

Stunning motorhome park. It’s a great place to spend a few days chilling by the pool. Extremely friendly welcome from Erik, the owner, who has done a marvellous job in making a tasteful new bar/restaurant area which most clients frequent in the late afternoon. Very nice host. Beautiful pitch with everything one could need. Delicious breakfast, Dutch tapas, and tasty drinks. The pool is pleasantly heated, and Erik is always available and friendly. We would gladly come again.

A good, quiet place for motorhomes halfway between Tabernas and Lucainena de las Torres. The owner, Erik, is kind and helpful. Everything is well organized and very clean, including the bathrooms. There is a restaurant and fresh bread is sold in the morning. Pay attention to the opening hours and the other instructions concerning the access road.

Great, spacious site. Everyone is friendly. You have to pay first, including for food or drinks at the bar, before leaving.

Arrived on 27/12. A very well laid-out and equipped private site. The owner is Dutch. He speaks Spanish, German, and English, but not French. The setting would be perfect if it weren’t for the background noise of engines from the car and motorcycle circuit located a few kilometers behind the hills. Worth knowing: it costs €25 per night if paying in cash, otherwise €27 by card.

Pitches and a Western-themed area (beautiful), all services impeccable, and they were very kind, even lending us a power adapter. Cash payment preferred; otherwise there is an extra €2.

Warm welcome from the operator. Great pitch with everything you need. Fantastic area. Fresh bread and rolls in the morning. Unfortunately, it was so windy that the pool was covered. The pool area is beautifully designed. We will definitely return, next time with more time.

Super-friendly welcome, very clean facilities, heated pool, bread-roll service, and a bar. Dutch menus offered three times a week. Excellent, we would come back anytime.

€27 by bank card instead of €25 cash (the explanation was bank fees). In Spain you can buy bread or coffee by card without extra charges. I think the Dutch operator prefers cash.j.

A beautiful little campsite, lovingly arranged entirely in a Texas theme. The pool is warm, and bread and pastries were available by prior order. The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean, and the owner was very friendly. We will return.

Many positive reviews. But the nearby racetrack provides a grand acoustic experience. The location is in the middle of nowhere.

Beautiful, well-maintained campsite and friendly staff. The price is certainly justified considering the heated pool and services. However, charging €2 for paying by card costs them one star. We paid cash...

Beautiful site, large pitches, but we did not stay because there is a motocross track nearby and the noise was quite intense on Saturday afternoon. We cannot say anything about the operator, sanitary facilities, or bar. Perhaps it is quieter on weekdays.

This was our third time here, because it is a good place to recover after a long drive. Very clean and orderly motorhome site, better than many campsites. Nice pool with seating and loungers. Very friendly owner. Rolls can be ordered for the following day. Cozy café/restaurant.

Very well received by the attentive owner, reasonable price, and a much-appreciated, clean, good-sized pool in the desert. All amenities are available: showers, toilets, washing machine, and a small bar for an aperitif.

Incredible, everything is there: space, cleanliness, amenities, and the owner’s kindness, making for a pleasant stay and a restful night in the quiet of Tabernas. I highly recommend it.

A super-great place. Every year we return during our tours through Spain. Erik, the owner, is friendly and helpful and has further developed the site according to his own vision. The facilities are excellent and the pool wonderful! This year we stayed one night longer.

I am not a fan of motorhome sites, but exceptionally we stopped here for a few amenities. This one is exceptional for such an isolated place. Very friendly owner. Immaculately clean and well equipped. The heated pool in winter and cooled to 27 degrees in summer is a real treat. I cannot understand the few complainers; they must have a really boring life...

Wonderful site with pool, bar, bread, and pastries if ordered the day before. Éric is very nice. We planned to stay two nights but stayed a third. Hot during the day—it is the Andalusian desert, after all! But at night the temperature drops nicely: dry air, a light breeze, and no lingering heat from cities or humidity from the sea. I recommend it! I hope to return in the future.

You should definitely plan a visit to “Little Texas” in the Tabernas Desert. An “oasis in the desert.” Erik is a very hospitable owner, and we hope he can continue maintaining this wonderful site. Thank you very much; we would gladly return.

We are here for the second time. There is now also a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy freshly tapped beer and other drinks. On some days, freshly prepared meals are available. As always, the facilities are perfectly maintained and very clean.
