Rue de Goule, 25120, Maîche
Been here?
A very quiet overnight spot beside Étang de Goule, in a pine forest at 900m altitude. The area offers level and slightly sloping places, with a bench and rubbish bin nearby; it can become muddy when wet. Access is currently possible via Rue de Goule, while an earlier comment advises using Rue du Belvédère because of a one-way road. A fitness trail and mountain-bike trail are nearby, with occasional anglers, walkers and morning activity.

Very quiet and very clean place. No traffic during the night, only in the morning.Translating
Really great spot. We have a rooftop tent and it is possible to park the car 3m from the pond. Very quiet road with no traffic, privacy, a nearby bin, and a pine forest environment at 900m altitude. No mosquitoes, yet still close to town if needed. 4G (Orange). Just excellent. Note: only one space. As shown in the photo.Translating
Today it was easy to reach via Rue de Goule. At 30°C, with fresh forest air, it was much more pleasant than the 34°C in the valley! Anglers, hikers (with and without dogs), and athletes are around.Translating
Extremely quiet parking area, with a few spaces by the road (but slightly sloping) and one level space under the trees—only a few anglers and dog walkers. Please do NOT drive up to the pond via Rue de Goule; use Rue du Belvédère instead (one-way street)! Bench and garbage bin available—please leave it clean (we collected some broken glass and rubbish)…!Translating
We spent a very peaceful night; hikers and a lumberjack arrived around 8 in the morning. We were also visited by a pair of roe deer.Translating
Secluded in the forest, plenty of space and very quiet—the town still has food available until 10pm. It was quite muddy when wet. A few hikers in the morning.Translating
