Large and very quiet parking area, also suitable for overnight stays. Naturally, it is paid, because it is fair to pay when certain services are available.
Very convenient parking for visiting the basilica. Motorhomes can also pay the hourly rate of €1.50 per hour. It is not very large, but convenient for a visit.
Convenient parking for visiting the archaeological site and basilica. The price has changed. Motorhomes can also pay the hourly rate of €1.50 per hour. Payment is made at the usual machines with coins or cards. You can also pay via an app, but be careful: it only gives you the daily rate.
Spacious and convenient for motorhomes. Parking is paid from 08:00 to 22:00. A single motorhome rate of €15. No services. I saw no signs or issues with overnight parking. Aquileia is worth visiting; the parking is convenient for the museum, cathedral, and visible archaeological excavations.
We arrived in the afternoon at the end of September and bought a €15 ticket, which is essentially valid until 8 a.m. We left at 10 a.m. the next day after breakfast without paying again. Apart from us, there were only two other motorhomes. Everything was quiet and safe at night.
We only wanted to look around the historic centre for a hour or so on a morning visit but there’s no hourly € rate for motorhomes, could only find a €15 full day option on the ticket machine, unlike cars in the same parking which do have hourly rate option! Drove to other parkings in the town, but no motorhomes permitted so we just drove on!
Large parking area without services; no trees or bushes, so you are completely exposed! Considering that other towns offer free parking areas with water and waste disposal, this can only be called a rip-off (€15 per day). Suitable at most for visiting the excavations.
The motorhome rate is €15 per day. The hourly rate is only for cars. Large and convenient parking area.
Paid parking. Ideal for visiting the town. There is a caravan park right next door, but I only noticed it when I walked through town. A beautiful archaeological town. There is a self-service laundry nearby.
We spent a quiet night here and were still right in town, within walking distance of the really excellent archaeological sites. No facilities.
Unpaved parking area charged by the hour; not convenient for large motorhomes.
Pros: central for sightseeing. Overnight stay possible. Cons: just an unpaved car park, so no services. €1 per hour. If you are not interested in visiting the sites, it is better to park along the road, because there is very little free sightseeing and you will finish the tour in 15 minutes. If you are interested in visiting, I agree with buying the Aquileia Card.
