A small, simple lakeside campsite with attractive pitches, trees, and beautiful views over the lake. The facilities are basic but clean, and the staff are friendly; the showers are old but usable. A busy nearby road causes persistent noise, although the lake and sunsets are excellent. Some pitches are directly beside the water, while larger vehicles may find booking and access less predictable.

Very pleasant campsite, with a fantastic view of Lake Vättern. The pitches are nice with trees, and every spot is unique. When booking, it is difficult to know whether there is space if you have a larger vehicle. The pitches looked the same online, but in reality there was a great deal of difference. Still, a very pleasant, peaceful campsite.
The only difference from a parking lot beside a main road is the lake—and that's all. The sanitary facilities looked as if ten fan buses had just stopped there. The nearby road causes constant noise. The lake, however, is truly beautiful.
We spent one night here while passing through. Very friendly staff. Despite a double booking of our pitch, we were able to stand elsewhere without any problem. The site is small and basic. The shower is more than antique, but still clean. You can park directly by the lake, which is incredibly warm at the moment. The road was quiet at night and did not disturb us.
We were so lucky to stay at this site. Great view of the lake. Simple, but everything clean. The staff are all very nice and everything is uncomplicated. You can pay by card too.
Everything was great! The owners were travelling, so it is best to clarify check-in by phone.
Good place to stay for one night, with friendly staff.
We stayed on the other side of the road, in spot one. These pitches have no electricity, but are naturally very noisy because of the road—and yes, it is heavily trafficked. From 6 p.m. it became quieter, so we could enjoy the silence and the water. It was okay for one night. Please remember to remove your hair after showering!!! That way the shower stays clean for everyone.
Beautiful pitch, wonderful landscape. Everything is a little old, but it doesn't matter at all. Everything is clean and the hostess is incredibly friendly. The busy road is only slightly bothersome.
Very beautiful campsite, wonderful view of the water. Quiet, basic but tidy. Perhaps less pleasant when it is busy, because then there are rather too few sanitary facilities. Definitely recommended.
Lovely place and friendly staff, well worth a stop along the way. Sunset and swimming.
Really beautiful lakeview campground. We had an amazing spot (pitch 17). The site wasn’t overcrowded and we really felt close to nature despite the road being close. The staff was friendly and the amenities were all okay - nothing fancy but that’s not what we are looking for while camping anyway. Definitely recommend this one.
Old place but perfect for one night; they have most things. We slept with earplugs, so the road right next to it did not bother us.
It was okay for one night. As previously described, the road runs through the site. One side has no electricity, the other does. Everything is somewhat dated. It is also too noisy at night; lorries park on the hard shoulder. The operators are very nice.
The site is directly by the water and the pitches are reasonably level! The road runs right through the campsite, but with the view of the lake you can block out the noise :) The operator speaks hardly any English, but was very friendly! Price: 180 SEK without electricity, directly by the water. Sanitary facilities old but clean and well maintained. We would definitely return for an overnight stay.
Very nice view and all basic amenities are there. Old but clean. However the price stated is incorrect and very high for what you get: 330kr for a place at the lake, 180kr for a spot on the other side of the road (in August 2024).
Stayed here with a rooftop tent and two children. We got a very nice spot right by the water that suited us very well. Friendly welcome when we arrived.
Very nice little site directly by the lake. We barely noticed the road. Clean sanitary facilities that are somewhat dated. Very, very nice operators; we felt very comfortable. Would come back anytime.
Yes, indeed... a road running 'right through' the campsite. But it is not busy, especially not at night, and the place is worth it. Lapping waves at the foot of your camper ... wonderful swimming water, a kiosk with friendly owners, and simply 'perfectly okay' sanitary facilities. The slightly more expensive southwest side gets lovely sun at the end of the day. And if you can manage without electricity, pitches 13 and 16 have your own little beach next to them.
