Paid parking in the centre, close to Taranto's historic area and the MARTA museum. It can be busy and noisy, with people coming and going until 2am and street cleaning starting early. An unofficial parking attendant may request an additional 1€ coffee offering.

Safe paid parking near the historic center.
Excellent for visiting MARTA and the city center. In addition to the parking fee, you have to pay €1 for a coffee tip to the unofficial parking attendant, who was not pushy and nevertheless had professional ethics.
There are many parking spaces throughout the area, but you have to be lucky to find a free one. Tip: take the first available space.
I regret parking here. I had to pay €10. It is really busy and noisy. People coming and going until 2am. The street cleaner and others start very early in the morning.
Anyone who manages to get here with a medium-sized motorhome is rewarded with a simple but practical place costing €1 per hour. The old town is quickly accessible.
