Oberurnerstrasse 14, 8752, Näfels
Been here?
Wohnmobilstellplatz at the Linth-arena sports centre near Näfels, on a gravel lot right beside a busy main road. Roughly 20 CHF per night with all persons and tourist tax included, giving access to the arena's toilets and hot showers (8am/9am–10pm), fresh water and a swimming pool. No electricity or waste disposal is available on site. Road noise is noticeable but most travellers found nights reasonably quiet; the site is level, clean and well-lit. A construction period through 2021 delayed the dedicated motorhome spaces, now finished.

We parked here with a 6.80 m motorhome to reach the lake by electric bicycle; it took us 15 minutes, plus another 10 to the waterfall. Very reasonable price: 3.5 Swiss francs for 4 hours
We stayed one night in April. We were the only ones there. The main road is heavily trafficked.
We used the site for an overnight stop. After registering, you receive an access card for the night so you can use the toilet. The washrooms and showers are also available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and fresh water can be collected. We had a very quiet night and thank them for the secure site with a great view of the mountains, which was worth the 20 francs.
The site is nothing more than a gravel sports-field parking lot without any facilities—no electricity, water or disposal. But the best part is that every motorhome space is directly behind a football goal (!!!). I have never seen anything like it. They take adventure holidays seriously here. The price is €25 per night.
It was impossible to enter. I only wanted to fill up with water, but unfortunately that did not work.
It is a parking lot at Liftarena. There are no services: no water and no disposal. Price: CHF 22. You can use the toilet inside the arena.
The showers and toilets in the arena are accessible until 10 p.m. and included in the price of 20 Swiss francs. Fresh water is included as well. We slept in the parking lot because a Swiss television crew had occupied the motorhome area with its fleet. The asphalt radiates intense heat. The lighting is extremely bright at night. The adjacent road is very busy and noisy. It is not beautiful here, but practical.
It is only a parking lot. We did not stay for two hours, so it was free. Very noisy with the motorway next to it. Not for us
We were alone in the area. For 20 CHF, you can stay 24 hours. We had access to the showers and toilets. For the night, we had an access card to enter the building. The reception staff are friendly. There is a restaurant in the building. From this parking lot, we easily reached Lake Walenstadt by bicycle.
Very welcoming and clean facilities! We stayed here 2 nights and did a day trip into Zurich from here. The swimming pool and shower facilities are the best public facilities I have ever seen. Pay at the front desk upon arrival but you can also pay during business hours if you arrive at night when the community centre is closed. Highly recommend.
Close to the road, but still a good place for a stopover. No camper services.
Road traffic clearly audible, and the prices are far too high. Young people are around at night...
Safe, level, clean but for 20CHF for no electricity or dump station is rather expensive. We did use the beautiful pool at a cost of 12 CHF pp the outdoor pool is lovely and warm with snowy mountains as a backdrop
6m99 long/3m20 high. Very practical and nice place. Just check-in at the Linth Arena and you get the tickets to get out. You can use the hot showers and toilets between 9h and 22h. We took also a swim. Restaurant wasn’t that great. Too much fast food. No further services but a nice place to spend the night and to climb, swim, take a sauna/massage. Night was quiet enough for us.
