A large, extremely quiet cobbled square in front of the Ystad cinema studios, about 10 minutes’ walk from the centre. Recent information identifies the spaces as rented company parking, and parking may result in fines. The site has otherwise been described as quiet for a night.

These are rented company parking spaces. Parking may result in fines.
We had a quiet night directly in front of the Ystad Studios. Until about 9 a.m. we were the only campers, with a view of the beautiful lime trees. Then two campers parked 20 cm apart despite there being plenty of free space. It is a shame that there are really people with no manners! Our view was gone, and we could not even turn off the gas from outside. My husband had to crawl behind the wheel through the passenger door.
Great quiet place, but around 6 p.m. an older man appears, notes down the vehicles parked there and makes a phone call. We then looked at the parking sign. Underneath it says that the spaces are for rent. We do not know whether the sheriffs or municipal authorities came afterward. We moved to the parking lot 400 metres farther away, without that additional sign.
It is better to park right beside the exits; if the car park fills up, it can become a trap where you cannot manoeuvre. We slept alone and peacefully. We saw no prohibition sign.
