Flat parking one block from a shopping centre, with free public WiFi and good access to river walks. Recent overnight stays were very quiet, but the area can become crowded and manoeuvring or exiting with a motorhome may be difficult. Nearby amenities include a supermarket, local shops and sometimes a food truck.

Lots of space and peaceful.
Very quiet night. Excellent place for visiting the city, with walks along the Mondego River.
#SAPONAVAN peaceful night with no noise!
We stayed for 3 days in the car park just above (behind the theater). Less traffic, more space... a supermarket right next door, as well as an excellent small local butcher and a fruit and vegetable seller... The car park is still quite noisy (food truck, fire station, school, passing traffic...).
The car park is very busy in the early afternoon. Maneuvering is not necessarily easy for a motorhome (a dead-end parking lane, or at least the exit blocked by cars). Overall, it does not inspire confidence. We did not stay.
Basically a good parking spot for the night, but at 9 a.m. it was completely full and so tightly packed that we could no longer leave with our motorhome. We then parked the motorhome in the middle of the curve at the exit and waited for the owners to leave. It took hours!
