Been here?
A quiet motorhome site above the Salzach valley with spectacular views, friendly hosts and a restaurant serving good food. Electricity, water and disposal facilities are available, with electricity reported at 5 euro; bread-roll service is also offered. The approach is somewhat steep, and snow chains are recommended in winter. Hiking, cycling and local attractions are nearby, including Krimml waterfall and a 14 kilometers illuminated toboggan run.

Super beautiful campsite with a magnificent view! Special access road. We ate very well in the restaurant. Good value for money. Gladly return.
Very, very nice campsite with electricity, water supply and disposal facilities, bread delivery service and an excellent view. A charming dwarf-themed walking trail directly at the site and a model-aircraft airfield. We planned one night and extended for another. Super-friendly operators. We will definitely return when we are in the area.
Very nice hosts, lovingly designed site, wonderful panorama. All disposal and supply facilities are available. The restaurant serves good food. I cannot find a single criticism that would justify taking off a point.
Friendly reception, great view. Very quiet. €20 plus tourist tax, without electricity.
Wonderful views, peace and relaxation.
Friendly hosts and a campsite with a dreamlike view of the valley. Very quiet. The food at the inn next door was delicious. Everything necessary is available.
An additional €5 because we arrived at 8:00. It was conveyed that this was supposedly a concession. On a rainy Friday, the site was one-third full, and there were only departures that day. The dog also costs €3 per day, for a total of €62 for two days. No electricity and no waste disposal. At least the view is exactly as promised.
Good view, but very limited facilities for the price: €24 without electricity plus €3.50 tourist tax per person, with no registration or receipt and cash only... questionable legality. €27 total for one night. If you want to dispose of rubbish, you have to pay extra; gray-water emptying is awkward. I do not recommend it.
A great campsite with everything you need, very nice hosts, an excellent restaurant and a dream view!!!
A very unfriendly woman watches exactly how you park. She thought I had extended the motorhome awning too far. I was immediately and rudely told to retract it a little. Dogs are not allowed to do their business here; dog-unfriendly in my opinion! I left after an hour. Never again! There are better campsites.
Beautiful view of the Salzach valley. Quiet site without noise. Very friendly operators. One night for a motorhome with two people, without electricity: €27. Electricity is available and costs €5.
A good place to sleep; there aren't many in the area.
Very nice panoramic place :) They have fresh water and a place to dispose of black and gray water, but you must take your rubbish with you. Nice for one or two nights, as there is no shuttle bus or nearby public transport.
Great for a night or two, with beautiful views, but it doesn't get much sun. The road here is gritted, so there was no issue in our two-wheel-drive van. It was €32 per night with electricity. Note that there is an extra charge if using an electric heater.
Excellent campsite. Very friendly operators. Everything you need is available: electricity, water, gray-water and black-water disposal. Great hiking trails in the area. I highly recommend it and will certainly return!!!
Excellent site with a great view of the valley. €25 per night for two people. The innkeepers are super friendly. The pitches are relatively level. Highly recommended.
The site is spectacular. Although the area has no facilities, it is next to a hotel and the views alone make it worth visiting. The price (€34 per night) is in line with other areas in Austria, and the experience makes up for it. Ideal for those seeking peace and unique landscapes.
A wonderful place! Beautiful view, easy to reach and lovely, well-maintained motorhome pitches. We paid €20 for one night without electricity. Good food in the restaurant!
Turned up late afternoon as spotted the campers from the main road and headed up the steep drive. 25 euro with no hook up. Sat in the sun watching the model planes flying about. Nice beer in the bar. Very quiet. Perfect for a night stop over. Think they did bread in the morning too.
We called to ask whether it was possible to use only the supply and disposal facilities for a fee. Unfortunately, we were turned away.
Beautiful place in an excellent location. It was a little crowded in August. I am not giving it more stars because it has no facilities.
Beautiful view, friendly owners, generous pitches with services. This is no small thing in Tyrol, where it is difficult to find somewhere to sleep and motorhome facilities outside campsites.
We saw little of the view because it was so busy; we were completely boxed in. Few facilities for a relatively high price. The hostess also seemed very tense.
Very good location with services. Do not miss Krimml Waterfalls, the largest in Europe. It is best to arrive early because many people arrive late in the afternoon.
Great view, good value for money. We would gladly return.
Fantastic view over the valley. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, no toilet. Good opportunities for cycling and hiking. About 10 km by bike on a good trail to Krimml Waterfalls. We would gladly return.
Very beautiful view, but only for self-sufficient campers. You cannot use a toilet or shower. There are no rubbish bins either. Only toilet and wastewater disposal and water filling. €54 for two nights for two people and a dog.
The name says it all! What a magnificent view! Otherwise, everything you need is there: electricity, fresh water, disposal facilities and excellent food. Somewhat rustic, but it is all there. Anyone wanting a pleasant stay in peaceful nature with a beautiful view and friendly hosts, while being self-sufficient, will be in the right place here.
This campsite has a wonderful panoramic view and a very good restaurant for food and beer. As stated in the description, there is no possibility to shower or dispose of rubbish, or only for a fee. Anyone wanting to stay longer and who is not self-sufficient should look for another place—or read the description carefully.
A great view, no question! Strictly speaking, that's all. No toilet, no shower, no dishwashing facilities and no waste disposal. €18 for the cramped pitch plus €2.50 tourist tax per person. Electricity would cost another €5. Wi-Fi is poor, if you need it. You must leave the site by 11 a.m.
