A quiet, shaded wooded spot suited to smaller vans, with parking beside the motorhome and nature surrounding the site. The nearby road has little night traffic, but the sloping ground provides limited level space, with around 4 vans considered the maximum. It is close to the start of the seven lagoon walk, about 10 minutes away on foot. The source at 50m is nearly dry in summer and should not be relied on for drinking water.

Very beautiful and spacious site. We arrived in the late afternoon and had the place to ourselves; another van arrived late in the evening. Quiet night, and in the morning we took a beautiful walk.
Okay spot for one night. Along a road but not much traffic. It is possible to hide more or less from the road among the trees.

Great spot. We were four vans, but it was not a problem. That is the maximum, though, because the ground is quite sloped and there is little flat space. Do not rely on the mentioned water fountain; in summer at least, it is almost dry, and in any case I doubt the water is really drinkable. Better go to the cemetery just above, which has a tap.
Amazing parking, surrounded by nature and close to the start of the seven lagoon walk. No amenities and perfectly quiet at night. We are in a large camper (6.5m Sprinter) so chose to walk up to the start of the trail which was about 10mins
We stayed for just one night, very quiet, no noise, free, and many flat spaces. Fifteen minutes from the start of the Seven Lagoons trail. An option if there is no space in front of the village.
We spent three peaceful nights here. From here you can start the beautiful tour to the Seven Lagoons. We really enjoyed it.
A fairly large parking area where large motorhomes can also find space. Very idyllic, with a few picnic tables and a spring. I spent New Year's Eve here with my dog and heard only a few isolated fireworks in the distance at midnight. Super beautiful and remote.
Lovely spot, well shaded for small vehicles, right next to the road, but few vehicles pass at night. Nevertheless, bring mosquito netting—there is an invasion of gnats.
Loads of shade if you don't have a huge vehicle, you can park between the trees (2.7m*2.3m motorhome here). Close to a road but not busy. Only a few visitors over the evening, one car and a farmer with his two cattle, all were very friendly. Good place to spend a quiet night before the start point for the beautiful sete lagoas walk starting 1km away. Many flies though.
No shade at all in April.
