Beach car park, overnight prohibited

A small, calm car park directly beside the village beach, useful for daytime parking and a 10-minute walk to Trá na mBó. It is not busy during the day, but overnight parking is prohibited by a Waterford County Council beach by-law. The car park is the only one next to the beach.

Small parking area for daytime use. Right by the beach. We used it to get to Trá na mBó, a 10-minute walk away.
New Waterford County Council Beach By-law sign says no overnight parking. Same for all car parks now in Bunmahon so we continued east to find another spot at Kilmurrin. Again no overnight parking sign at the beachfront parking but there are marked campervan spaces on the landward side of the road entering Kilmurrin from the west.
Beautiful place with plenty of parking, would stay again. Not busy during the day.
