Reported closed — path under construction
Free natural roadside spot near Lake Lungern with level grassy ground and space for 1-3 vans. No services (no water, toilet, or bins) but good mobile signal. Church bells ring hourly, including at night, and tractor noise starts early morning. Recent reports mention the access path under construction (temporarily unusable) and one dispute about legality; a paved lot across the road is an alternative.

The path is currently under construction, so it is not possible to sleep there. We continued on our way. The parking area just across the road is excellent, however.
This place is illegal, and numerous people also come at night to tell you off. Not recommended.
We spent the night here; there was no view and lots of mosquitoes, but it was a fairly good spot. However, if you are a light sleeper it will be difficult. Church bells every 30 minutes, tractor noise from 5 a.m.... Space for two or three small vans.
Good spot with flat ground surrounded by greenery. No traffic, but the village church bells ring every hour, even at night.
A quiet night in nature. At the moment it is only suitable for two buses, with level ground. However, you can also park in other bends along the road.
