Been here?
This is a small paid parking area near the water, under a bridge and within a short walk of Stavanger city centre and ferries. Parking costs 269.10 NOK for 24 hours through EasyPark. A nearby supermarket and sauna are convenient, but there are no confirmed on-site services and city, sauna and morning traffic noise can be noticeable. It is mainly suitable for a short urban stop.

Ok for one night to visit the city - walk to the center is fast. It is a bit noisy due to the Sauna next to it and cars and people around but it calmed late at night. No services (we could not find the described toilet).
Not particularly beautiful, but practical for one night in the city. The city center is within walking distance. We rented e-scooters. City noises all around, as usual in a city, but not too bad. We would use it again for Stavanger.
Not particularly beautiful but close to the center. Toilet nearby, at the playground under the bridge. 24 hours: 270 NOK. Little activity.
A somewhat strange, creative neighborhood, close to the center of Stavanger. Almost 300 NOK for 24 hours via the app. Shop and sauna nearby. In early July there were three campers and still plenty of space.
A great option for an overnight stop in the center of Stavanger! In the evening we went to the sauna, then enjoyed some nightlife in the excellent bars on Fargegaten. Earplugs are recommended for the seagulls and city activity in the morning.
Very good location close to the city center, about 300 NOK for 24 hours, EasyPark app.
Lots of spaces on the higher part of the car park, so we easily found a place for our 6.9 m motorhome. Easy to pay with EasyPark—they do check! Close to the city. 269.10 NOK/24 hours. Recommended if you are visiting the city for more than 3 hours; we took a trip. For up to 3 hours, there are more central and cheaper alternatives.
NOT suitable for motorhomes. Maximum 5 meters. The surroundings look like a ghetto.
Ten minutes' walk into town. Ordinary car park, ordinary parking-bay size.
Paying via EasyPark works without problems. Nice view over the harbor. Book a sauna through Damp! An ideal way to wake up.
Car park within easy walking distance of the city center. Somewhat uneven. Paying by card at the machine worked well. Toilets at the swimming lake under the bridge are sometimes closed at night, but that is okay. However, there is a lot of coming and going from the adjacent saunas in the evening, as well as loud music. Heavy road traffic in the morning because there are many businesses nearby.
Great for one night. Quiet place with no services.
Quiet place; payment is still difficult because the app does not work in Norway yet. Cash is king, but paying at the machine worked fine. The floating saunas are lovely for recovering for an hour and can be booked with some effort via the website.
someone is giving out parking fines of 660 kr without checking app first. we paid for 24 hours on the app and were fined in the first 3 hours with 21 hours remaining. looking at previous reviews this seems to be a recurring issue - be warned
The parking area is not in a very attractive location, but it is very convenient for going into town or taking a cruise ship. Coop supermarket opposite and Extra supermarket not much farther away. The toilets are to the right of Coop, in a white building beside a small lake. They are cleaned and then closed around 10 p.m. They were open at 9 a.m. this morning.
Perfect place to see the city and/or sleep. Very close to the center and plenty of parking spaces, even for motorhomes over 7 meters. If you pay through the app, you have no problem adding the license plate.
Paying with the app works without problems. Toilets are at the nearby swimming area under the highway. However, they are apparently open only at certain times. During my day visit they were locked. I did not find any other toilets. Waste disposal is possible at the swimming area or, with waste separation, a few meters farther on in front of the apartment building.
