Been here?
A hidden, disused road section behind a hedge, about a 2 min drive from Runswick Bay. Recent information reports a large pile of limestone leaving no room for vans. Earlier stays found it sheltered and private, but road noise was present and wet weather caused sludge from the stones.

Great spot, no worries! Some road noise, but nicely hidden.Translating
Stayed here for one night. There is now a large pile of limestone. Two vans could still fit side by side, but we stayed during rain and all the sludge from the stones was a pain to clean off the van. It would be fine in dry weather, but we would look for other spots if possible.Translating
Nice little hidden spot
The wind was blowing at 20–30 from the east, but we were very sheltered here with a pop-top. Some road noise, but we slept well. We used leveling ramps.Translating
Great in the off-season. Good for walking dogs, with a café and services available.Translating
