A small, quiet parking area at the beginning of the visit to the former Gurs internment camp, with historical surroundings and views. Clean toilets with sinks are available 24/7, and draining is possible. The nearby road can be quite busy, while the memorial and cemetery are directly accessible on foot.

Historical site with a beautiful view. I just walked around quickly and will take a proper walk in the morning.
It is a quiet place where you can rest very well. It has toilets and they are clean. We took the opportunity to visit the memorial, which is very interesting. One user says that another parking area is 50 meters away, but that one is accessed through a prohibited route, so if there is no space in the memorial parking lot, we do not recommend parking there.
If it is full, there is another one 50 meters farther on, after the memorial’s audiovisual area.
Parking in a historic location. There is an open toilet. The road passing right alongside has quite a lot of traffic.
