Been here?
A beautiful forest spot with a shelter, picnic table, bin and several hiking paths. Parking is at the roadside, while driving to the hut is not officially prohibited. The access track is rough, and one-night stays have been reported as very calm.

A beautiful place, but the parking area is at the front by the road. It is not officially forbidden to drive to the hut, but it is only a matter of time before large motorhomes stand there permanently, as shown in the photos. It should not be allowed.
Perfect place for one night. We slept in a converted car, very quietly, with a bin on site. There were two camping couples nearby by the chalet. A very pleasant night with the sound of the wind and trees. Starting point for a hike in the Tarnnschel massif.
Nice place, though the road is bumpy because of logging trucks. Star-shaped area with several hiking trails; impossible to park and camp there.
Very beautiful place in the middle of the forest. We spent a quiet night here on May 8, accompanied only by birdsong. Starting point for several hiking trails. Perfect spot.
Wonderful place in the forest. We drove slowly along the path with our coachbuilt motorhome. The children had a fantastic time building huts. Enjoyed it, and recommended for anyone seeking peace and nature!
I have never seen so many flies. No flat areas. But pleasant surroundings.
