2 Sauertal, 34393, Grebenstein
Been here?
This is a paying motorhome area on an uneven, poorly maintained meadow beside a busy federal road. It is close to Grebenstein’s old town and has a sanitary station, while electricity may theoretically be available but was difficult to locate. Access is difficult for large motorhomes because the final road is single-lane with two 90-degree bends. No grey-water disposal or waste bins are available.

Actually a beautiful place, if you don't mind the road behind it. There is a sanitation station and, theoretically, electricity is also available, but somehow I couldn't find the sockets.Translating
Pitch at the end of the sports field on a meadow. The site is poorly maintained. Immediately beside a busy main road. Access is difficult for large motorhomes because the road becomes single-lane shortly before the destination and has two 90-degree bends. Apparently no gray-water disposal is available. Toilet disposal costs €1.Translating
Be careful on the approach. The route planner sent us via the outdoor pool to the parking area. It was very tight with a 7 m motorhome. Parking spot okay, outdoor pool excellent. Nice and shady.Translating
What a shame. A truly idyllic little place. Everything works. But you really won't get a wink of sleep here overnight. The main road is right next to a bend and so loud that we turned around and left. Still, it was great to be able to refill and change water here. Many thanks for that.Translating
Cheap, everything worked. Perfectly fine for one night.Translating
Very well located, with short walks to the old town and to a newly built natural swimming pool that is unique in the region. Gladly again!Translating
Impossible to access. TomTom sends you along a road inaccessible to any motorhome. While trying to reach it via the route TomTom suggested, I found this other parking area near the nursery.Translating
The parking area is directly beside the busy main road. Access is not recommended for vehicles 8 m or longer. The proximity to the old town within walking distance is a positive. There are no waste bins, and the service station has been out of order for months.Translating
The circus is taking up the space! We are going farther.Translating
Currently out of service.
Access is unsuitable for large motorhomes. The road is very narrow and has trees. Under 7 m is certainly okay. Access onto the meadow is made more difficult by the surrounding benches, and this is not immediately visible, especially in the dark.Translating
