1 Railway Cottages, HU11 5AT, New Ellerby
Been here?
A quiet public car park beside the old Hull–Hornsea rail trail, with walking and cycling routes nearby. The local pub is a very short walk away, and recent reports describe the unofficial no-overnight signs as unauthorised. It is spacious, peaceful, and suitable for a stop near Hull or Hornsea.

Spacious public parking lot, day and night, directly beside various cycle paths. The no-overnight signs are unofficial and apparently placed by a resident who does not want motorhomes in front of his property. Anyone still unsure can spend the night next door at the excellent pub, if they ask politely and preferably buy a drink or meal.
The new signs aren't official signs, it's a nice place to park to visit Hull or Hornsea.
Two new NO OVERNIGHT STAY signs installed.
Quiet and secluded in the countryside. Slept well. Convenient for a stop before or after the ferry from Hull.
quiet and peaceful, only van here. friendly dog walkers
Super-quiet Saturday night. We were completely alone. The next morning, the first cars with walkers did not arrive until around 9:00.
Great spot overnight. Very quiet, big hedge to block morning sun so the van didn’t get too hop which is a bonus! Nice and close to the pub, alsthough we recommend The Falcon Inn up the road. Would stay again.
Public parking without restrictions for motorhomes, including height and overnight stays. Good for walking the dog. A nice pub is within sight. Perhaps space for a maximum of five vehicles.
Great stopover, especially if you like cycling! We arrived in the evening and it was as described. Very quiet.
Perfect quiet park up. We were there with one other van & had a really peaceful night. Sadly had to pick up litter left by others.
