A large, quiet gravel car park serving the hike to Marmorslottet, with no services. Parking costs 70 NOK and must be paid online before arrival because there is no network at the site. The access road has many deep potholes, while the hike becomes medium to hard after heavy rain and ends with a VERY steep section. Wildlife may cross the road.

The parking lot is big, was only a few available places upon arrival. We only stayed during the day, the hike to Marmorslottet should be considered medium/hard level when it has rained a lot, super slippery/muddy. The last part of the hike is VERY steep. Make sure you can climb up if you go down. Four stars because the views at the end was totally worth it!
Great car park, very large and quiet. Be careful: the road is full of holes, large and small, across its entire width. On the other hand, you may see wild animals! Payment is easy by PayPal or bank card, but make sure to pay before arriving because there is no network.
Unpaved car park. To get there, there is a long stretch full of potholes, but I saw that even large motorhomes managed to reach it because the road is wide enough. If you arrive in the evening, watch out for woodland animals crossing the road. Convenient car park for one night, allowing you to hike to Marmorslottet the following morning, which is truly magnificent. Paid parking as indicated on the sign.
Not suitable for fishing.
Three stars only because of the excellent hike. The internet is a disaster, but you can only pay online; there is no signal all the way to the car park.
The last 2 km of road are manageable even with a 7.5-ton vehicle. The via ferrata to Marble Castle is very well maintained and bypasses the biggest puddles. The last 70 metres down to the stream are a little steeper but easy enough. Anyone climbing over the rocks in the stream bed to reach the best photo spot should use their hands and feet. Absolutely incredible what nature has to offer here.
Total disaster. Staying here is unpleasant, and the path to the river is still completely damaged along the via ferrata. You can get down, but it is genuinely dangerous. Better bring a rope, and do not take dogs or children.
Beautiful, quiet car park. Perfectly fine for one night. The hike to Marmorslottet is quite demanding over the final 100 metres and is not suitable for everyone; it is more like a via ferrata.
70NOK paid online - tricky with minimal phone signal. Large car park with nothing in the way of services. Very quiet. Only a short walk to Marmoslettet.
Internet does not work. You have to pay online but the internet connection is bad.
The car park is accessible again now that the snow has melted. The final kilometre has plenty of potholes, but driving slowly works fine. 70 NOK by credit card or PayPal, and then you can set off on the hike.
As of yesterday the parking lot and about 700 meters of the road leading to it are still snow covered. We parked at the P4N spot just before and walked in for the hike. The hiking trail is also snow covered, with some deep snow in places.
Beautiful place, cool road, unfortunately not accessible in winter, but the spot right before this is.
