Chemin Forestier Rappenkopf, 68140, Soultzeren
Been here?
Daytime parking at Lac Vert, with a rocky access road and shade from trees. Overnight stays are prohibited, and a recent report describes a punctured tyre and forced entry by a quad at 21:00 while occupants were inside. Hiking routes start nearby, but warnings about cyanobacteria mean contact with the lake water should be avoided. There are no nearby bins.

Someone slashed our tire and broke into the van with a quad bike while we were inside... It was 9 p.m.
Thanks to everyone who says they spent a night here! If you read the signs and regulations posted here, overnight stays are prohibited. Thanks to you, bans and height barriers are springing up everywhere.
Spent a night by the lake. Quiet and relaxing. Lots of hikers, but they weren’t bothersome.
Lovely spot with several walks starting here!
Great place to spend a night in the Vosges. There are no rubbish bins nearby. Hiking trails pass directly by the parking area, so there is quite a bit of activity, even on a rainy Monday. Lac Vert and the surrounding trees were dreamy at the end of October!
Very beautiful and, outside the season, quiet parking area. However, there are signs around the lake warning about cyanobacteria (blue-green algae)—contact with the water should definitely be avoided.
