A quiet car park for vans, not motorhomes, where one overnight stay is possible. Parking is free, and a water point for canisters is next to the football field. The riverside toilet was closed, but a free public toilet is a 12-15 min walk away by the monastery. The city centre, dam and monastery are reached by a pleasant 10-15 minutes walk.

Quiet car park. Water point for canisters next to the football field; the toilet (riverside) was also closed when we were here but there's one public toilet (free) next to the monastery (12-15 min walk). A very nice walk to the city centre, the dam and the monastery.
Free parking in quiet place. No problem with parking all day and sleep one night. We felt safe here. 10-15 minutes walk to old city centre.
Places to cool down (water games) and there is a tap by the basketball court but it is very slow, so if you want to fill up your tank it takes a long time. toilets were closed 13/08/2024
Great spot near the city centre. Quiet at night. The streetlights stay on all night. We felt safe here. There is a water point with good drinking water nearby. We collected water with a watering can to refill our tank.
