Cam Gill Rd, BD23, Kettlewell
Been here?
This small gravel area is a remote, high-up wild spot suitable for 2 vans, with a large passing place and grassy space behind the road. It offers beautiful views, great walks and encounters with cattle. Access from the north is narrow, while the steep climb from Kettlewell is not recommended for large vans.

Plenty of space in this beautiful remote spot. As per previous comment we met the cattle too. Great walks & views. * Approach along Coverdale is narrow with few passing spaces from north, easier access from Kettlewell in south. It is a steep narrow climb tho not recommended for large vans *
A fabulous, high-up, wild spot with some grassy space a little bit back from the road. It does now have one environmental hazard: cattle. Spent the night with about 25 of them licking, rocking and trying to chew my van. No harm done but it was rather unnerving. There is a small niche you may be able to squeeze into just below the cattle grid instead.
