This decent-sized gravel lay-by has spectacular views, good phone signal, and a fairly quiet road. It is one of the main parking places for the nearby Wailing Widow Falls, with the trail starting lower down beside the road. Expect many other vehicles during the day, while the opposite cliff face provides some shelter from wind.

Decent sized gravel layby, good signal and fairly quiet road, and spectacular views. This is one of the main parking places for the nearby waterfalls, so expect lots of other vehicles during the day. Not as exposed to the wind thanks to a cliff face on the opposite side of the road
