Practical outskirts site, awkward water

To dispose of rubbish, you have to borrow a key from the spa for a €10 deposit, and at registration you have to fill out an A5 sheet with personal data. We definitely will not come back, even though the town is beautiful.

People drive into the site at night in cars and use it as a meeting place. Unsuitable for overnight stays.

Quietly located on the edge of a magnificent old town. Electricity is available for some pitches. Service facilities are a joke: fresh water only with tokens, grey water only via a hose with a funnel. The cassette has no rinse water. That's unacceptable!

€15 per night for a camper and two people. Electricity is €1 per hour, water €1 per 10 minutes.

Practical and fairly priced pitch for an overnight stay while visiting the town center or spa. Very short distances to both. Very noisy from 6 a.m. due to commuter traffic. Wi-Fi “speed” is very slow.

We were able to spend another very quiet night here. The site has everything you need if you are not completely self-sufficient. The slight slope can easily be corrected with small leveling blocks, and €8 plus tourist tax is reasonable.

We stayed here for one night. The site is minimally sloped; anyone who has a problem with that should carry leveling ramps. Grey-water disposal is a disgrace! A tiny drain that is difficult to hit, and the chained funnel is built so high that it does not fit under the vehicle. Fresh water costs €1—but beware! Some joker left the tap running.

It is commendable that there is a designated motorhome pitch. However, they simply reserved part of a car park for motorhomes without making any significant effort. Well, it is okay for one night.

The site is functional and quiet, but sloping because it was not built for motorhomes. There are virtually no service facilities. Only rubbish disposal, which is locked. You can get a key for it at the spa, but you have to walk quite a distance. The same applies to payment. Overall, it is outdated. It could be much better.

It is not very modern that you cannot book or pay for the overnight stay online. You arrive on Saturday at 10:10 p.m. and read on the sign that you may park there only with an overnight ticket purchased in advance at the spa, which must be clearly displayed in the window. But the spa is already closed... What now?

Well-intentioned but poorly executed. All motorhome spaces are suitable for vehicles no longer than 4–5 meters. Every space is sloping. An old car park was simply designated as a motorhome site with a sign. Water costs €3. The many electricity posts are a positive. As a spa town, Bad Langensalza deserved a site made with more care. The potential is there, but unfortunately it was not well implemented.

The price is perfectly reasonable, with discounted entry to the spa, a very quiet pitch, a lovely old town, and a Japanese garden that is highly recommended. The schnitzel restaurant and steakhouse in the old town are recommended. We will definitely come back.

A site not far from the beautiful old town and the spa. We had a very quiet night here, and the price is absolutely reasonable. Anyone having trouble with rubbish should simply take the key when registering. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in any of the gardens, so this is unfortunately not suitable for us. But the old town offers plenty to see and discover.

A nice site close to the spa and beautiful old town. Dear motorhome travelers, you drive expensive vehicles but cheat on the tourist tax—is that really necessary? The site is genuinely inexpensive.

The Bad Langensalza site could be improved. Such a beautiful town should not fob off the many visitors arriving by motorhome with two rows of a public car park. Every visitor pays tourist tax and will visit the beautiful parks, which charge admission. A good motorhome site is a town's calling card. This way, people stay longer and are happy to return.

Beautiful pitch near the spa and old town. Unfortunately, I had to deduct one star because of the electricity and water payment system. You have to insert at least €3, which gives you 10 hours of electricity or 10 minutes of water. Charging by kWh or liter would be fairer.

Good starting point for exploring the worthwhile old town. We spent a quiet night. Unfortunately, there are only a few electricity posts and the rubbish bins are locked. You can get the key with a deposit at the spa, which was too complicated for us. All in all, a reasonable price. We were satisfied.

Centrally located pitch at the spa. Check-in is also handled through the spa, which is only a few minutes away. The ladies there were very friendly. Unfortunately, there are too few electricity connections at the pitch, or they are too far away. Despite being in a residential area, it is very quiet. Shops, including Edeka, are easily reachable on foot, and the beautiful old town is just around the corner.

A beautiful site. However, as of June 1, 2024, the site fee was increased to €6 per night. That is a shame, but it is still inexpensive. Waste disposal is somewhat cumbersome: first borrow the key to the rubbish area at the spa, then dispose of the rubbish, and then return the key to the spa. However, this means the area is used only by motorhomes staying here.

Excellent. We parked wonderfully in this city car park. Everything you need is available and everything is within walking distance. Bad Langensalza is a beautiful town, and a nice motorhome site has been created with simple means; at €4 including tourist tax, it is very inexpensive. Other towns could take note.

For the price, a good and inexpensive site with everything necessary. With one or two leveling blocks, you can stand almost level. The spa is pleasant, the old town is beautiful. The Italian restaurant at Fredericenschlösschen is recommended. An Edeka is around the corner. The night was quiet. The town's Wi-Fi is somewhat weak.

It is a simple car park with service facilities in the middle of a housing estate with five-story apartment blocks all around. Everyone comes to this site because of the spa, which is fairly new but has only three pools: one larger indoor pool, one larger outdoor pool, and one for children. The market square is a little under 15 minutes away on foot.
