Been here?
A shaded parking area beside a clear, cold river beach, suitable for swimming and overnight stays. The road is busy during the day but usually calm at night, although many cars may arrive in the evening and morning. A small hidden beach lies upstream, and there are no services.

The only place that did not burn in this area devastated by fires. You won't find anything better for miles around. Quiet night, but many cars in the evening and at waking time.
Spot near the road, which is busy during the day but quiet at night. It is a very nice spot where we can swim in the river. It is also shaded, which is ideal when traveling in a van! We spent one night here, but beware of hornet attacks at night, as they are attracted by light from the van, small lamps, flashlights, etc.
I have never parked there because I am from Paúl and have a family home in the village. I only ask you to respect the place. It is very dear to many Portuguese people. My mother and uncles grew up in this river, and my grandfather before them... Just be aware that this paradise is important to local people and families. Thank you.
Ideal place to spend the night and the day—peaceful, beautiful, and cool! The river is right next to it and you can bathe in its crystal-clear waters!!
Very practical parking if the other swimming spots in Paul are full! Refreshing swim!
We were alone on this large, shaded parking area since this morning. In the late afternoon, many locals arrived to swim. Lovely spot beside a small river—water up to waist height—clean place, large parking area for all campers. The only drawback is that it is beside a road, though not very busy. I recommend it to anyone who likes peace and quiet.
This spot easily deserves five stars. The road is busy during the day but very quiet at night. We stayed for two nights. We can swim in the river right outside the van. Shaded parking area. Finally, this spot is 10 minutes by car from the natural pools in neighboring villages—a real delight!
Lovely open parking area with lots of trees for shade. The road is a little busy, but because you can just open your door and hop into the water- its worth it :)
