Beach parking, paid overnight

We stayed here overnight and paid £5. We looked everywhere but couldn't see any signs saying no overnight parking. There were four other vans/motorhomes that left on the day we arrived, they had all stayed one or two nights for £5. It's a great spot with direct access to the beach. Very quiet at night. There is a charge for parking but no overnight stays in the vehicle are allowed. The Seacotes campsite has a website and now allows Motorhomes and camper vans to book. We paid £23 for a hard standing pitch. Five stars for Seacotes.

You can stay in this car park overnight. This car park is privately owned and you can pay £5 for 24 hours. It is next to a council car park in which you are not allowed to stay overnight. There are toilets in the council car park which are free to use but closed at night. Ideal place to stop over with a lovely morning walk out to st bees.

Daytime only car park at this end as well now. Even though the signs still show £5 for 24hr, each payment machine has a big sticker on it saying ‘no overnight stays. There is a campsite with full facilities at the north end of the car park’ so for this reason, i will give it 3* only. ’

The picture in the listing is of the car park on the right-hand side when facing the ocean. The car park where you can stay is on the left, closer to the café. It costs £5 for 24 hours and is hassle-free. Toilets are available, but not 24 hours.

The signage in the photo is for the other car park navigation takes you into the wrong car park. you basically need to park in the car park in front of the hotel. £5 for 24 hours cash or card.

Lovely spot and very quiet. £5 for 24 hours, can’t argue. However, the picture associated with this area is for the car park next to it.

The parking area is very nice and most things have already been said. However, I saw the no-overnight-parking sign next to the payment machine and drove on. I added a photo of the relevant sign above.
