An overnight motorhome parking area at Smakbyn restaurant, best used with a restaurant visit. Staff are happy to accommodate a couple of motorhomes, but you should prebook a table and ask the waitress for permission to stay. There are no services apart from a toilet when the restaurant is open, and the open-air museum, castle and distillery are nearby.

Quiet night, fabulous meal, and lovely staff who are very happy to have a couple of motorhomes in the car park. Directly opposite the open-air museum. No services apart from a toilet when the restaurant is open. Highly recommended. Book a table in advance by email, as it is busy.
We stayed in the car park by Åland Distillery after a really nice dinner at Smakbyn. Nice, calm spot.
Such a cool place! We were here completely alone for two nights. The wind turbine is not loud at all. What can be annoying are the cicadas, which put on several concerts during the day but become quiet when the sun goes down. We slept fantastically! And the view is breathtaking. Do not trust Google Maps; shortly before this place it will try to take you onto a narrow road. Keep driving straight!
