This is a natural area beside the El Burguillo reservoir, suitable for daytime visits, walking and bathing. There are no services, and visitors should collect all rubbish because litter is present. Overnight stays are prohibited because the area is protected, and vehicles may no longer descend to the water’s edge. The vehicle should be left at the reservoir’s highest level.

It is a beautiful place. We spent the day there with the children and cleaned everything up before nightfall, collecting the rubbish into a bag. The environmental police woke us at 7 a.m. to reprimand us and take our details for a possible fine. They told us that overnight stays are prohibited because it is a protected area.
According to the latest information, it is forbidden to drive down to the water’s edge; vehicles must be left at the highest point by the lake, and of course sleeping there is forbidden. I find that ridiculous.
Very good place to enjoy respectfully. It is a shame that it is full of rubbish everywhere. I understand that due to so much publicity, places like this lose their essence. I was going to attach pictures, but the app does not allow me to.
If you manage to find a flat area, it is a wonderful place. We spent an entire day there and had a great time. That said, when we left we picked up quite a lot of rubbish—not ours. Please respect the places you visit and leave them as clean as, or cleaner than, when you arrived.
Magnificent artificial lake. Be careful with access; it is only suitable for vans. If you arrive in the middle of the afternoon, there are many swimmers and cars parked everywhere, but from 8–9 p.m. people leave and we were alone. It is quiet, with a hiking trail nearby and the possibility of swimming in the lake.
